Currently I am in 1st semester. We got Amazon company with 2 months internship and we have to take that exam on 19th November 2024. It is our first campus company for our batch. We are eagerly waiting to attend that exam. Stifend was 1 lakh per month. From 1st semester on wards eligible for placements and internships
The college has a good reputation in terms of placement and the college provides good placement packages. Most important the placement committee is fully responsible for the placement as they are able to invite good companies and help us during the placement rounds. The college placement committee makes sure that every one of us is placed as per our interests. The highest package for the batch was around 52 LPA and the average package was around 19 LPA. Few of my batch mates received pre-placement offers during the internship tenure.
In M.Tech second semester onwards internships will come and in fourth-semester, full-time employment opportunities will come almost 100 companies will visit in a year like an abb, bosch, GE, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Alstom, Volvo, Invention, Analog Devices, Nokia etc. The Highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA about 95 percent of students were being placed. After getting the degree I'll go for my job.
Very good management they will always support you.
Extremely supportive and cooperative staff and lab assistants
College campus is well maintained & clean, filled with lots of trees and greenish ambiance which feels good for studies as well for the health. We have yoga class weekly at free of cost to learn & maintain the health.
Food in mess is not good compared to other amrita campus. The food is pure vegetarian. Non veg is strictly prohibited inside the campus. Other than that no particular issues can be found about the college.
Management is strict and responsible as it should be in academics and even hostel maintenance is good, M.tech students may find it a bit too strict, but it is good to get accustomed to regulated lifestyle. Sometimes management also should see the problems faced by the pupil as the lower levels of management may misuse this at times.
good overall campus and excellent placement records this makes the college a good overall college
Good things: Natural environment which helps you to feel fresh everyday. You can come out and walk freely as there will not allow motor vehicles apart from university staff and maintenance.Bad things: Hostel maintenance.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
