Had Amrita's(college) own test and interview. The admission and ranking was done by the college itself and admitted purely by merit
Internships Opportunities
Most of the companies are from IT sector. But recently some core companies have made interest now. TCS, Wipro, CTS, Infosys, Hyundai. The stipend varies by companies.
Placement Experience
In mass recruitment around 1000 students are placed every year from all campuses of Amrita. TCS, Wipro, CTS, Infosys, Hyundai, CISCO. etc came offering a range of 30,000/- to- 13 lakhs per annum
College Events
Many cultural festivals are there.,Like Gogulastami,Pragathi, ANOHKA with national participation.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Hostel fees are high with only Vegetarian food. But the water and electricity are available uninterrupted. Yearly hostel and mess fees will be 85,000 to - 95,000/-.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is based on the stream of degree taken. Girls will be more for IT related streams. Boys will be more for Mechanical branches. Many seminars are conducted in the college. Politics is not prominent here. Students from all around india are coming here. Most of the students are from South India.
Alumni/Alumna
An alumni wing is working in the college. Since my seniors have just passed out i can't comment much about it.
Faculty
Very reputed and qualified faculty are there. But it is not applicable for all the engineering streams. Many Doctorate faculty are there and all other faculty with minimum PG graduates.
