Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would give an overall of 8.5/10 rating for the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum is alignes with current industry trends. Courses includes up to date technologies like AI,IoT,data science, and machine learning.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for campus placements starting in 6th Semester onwards.Top recruiting companies are Amazon ,HCL, Google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. Highest package is Rs 56.95 LPA and average package is Rs 9.2 LPA. Around 75% students get placed. After getting B.Tech degree I am going to pursue my Post Graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure per year is around Rs 600000 for non scholarship and Rs 1500000 for slab 1, Rs 300000 for slab 2 and Rs 400000 for slab 3 students. These slabs are based on marks obtained in AEEE exams.

Campus Life

4

Anokha, Pragati and Amritotsavam are some of the technical fests happening annually. Central library spanning 81000 sq.ft libraries, housing over 90000 print books , 400 periodicals, and 15000+ e-journals. Students have access to databases like ProQuest, ScienceDirect , EBSCO. Amrita has smart classrooms equiped with modern technologies. The campus offers over a 200 meter athletic track, courts for basketball, football, cricket, tennis, and volleyball. There is a Technical and academic club (ASTHA), Cultural and arts club (Natyasudha), Creative and media club (Team Media), etc

Hostel Facilities

4

The campus houses 9 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls, accomodating over 3500 students. Laundry and ironing services are also available. All meals served in the hostels are pure vegetarian. Each hostel has an attached dining hall and a night canteen to cater students needs. Students are required to pay the hostel fees online prior to arrival. Room allocation is done upon arrival at the campus, typically starting from 10:00 AM on the day before the induction program.

Admission

I applied to Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) and Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). I got confirmed admission from both the colleges, but still I choose Amrita due to its Curriculum and standard of teaching. There are 2 ways to get into Amrita: Writing entrance exam AEEE or applying for non-scolarship using board marks.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 1:14. Faculty members are friendly, caring, and supportive. Radha Iyer ma'am was one of the best faculties that I've ever got. She is so helpful in all aspects. There's no faculty that I disliked. Each semester includes mid term and end sem exams along with continuous assessments through assignments and quizes.

Night Life

4

Students are requested to return to their hostels by 8:30PM. After 10:00PM, movement outside hostel rooms is restricted The central library operates during standard academic hours 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. There are 3 Canteens on the campus serving both Veg and on-veg meals. Each hostel has it's own night canteen. The campus houses 3 gyms equipped with modern fitness equipments, catering separately to male and female students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum behind or campus is very much updated and it is changing as the technology changes. As the present world is engaging with computer and artificial intelligence,I want to improve more knowledge and also want to compete with others. The time table and the devlopment technology followed by our university is devoloped so that only placement are recorded with high percentage when compared to other. The improvement should be observed only regarding labs.We have write examination for every 30 or 40 days , because there are 3 internal test ,semester and lab exams.Actually time is not sufficient but we have to do hardwork.when compared to other universities or colleges our exams arebwry hard.
