Bannari Amman Institute of Technology (BIT), established in the year 1996, is an autonomous self-financing engineering institute situated in Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu. NAAC accredits the institute with an impressive ‘A’ grade and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. As per the India Today ranking 2023, BIT Sathy stood at the 93rd position in the overall category out of 281 colleges in India.
Bannari Amman Institute of Technology offers more than 40 courses at the UG, PG, and PhD levels and accepts state-level entrance examinations for admission to these courses. For the BE/ BTech programs, the TNEA scores are accepted by the institute and further, the cutoffs are released for the OC, BC, MBC, and BCM categories. In 2023, the BE CSE cutoff for the OC students closed at 13358 ranks in the final round of counselling. Similarly for the MTech, and MBA admission, CEETA PG and TANCET scores are considered. - First, visit the official website of TNEA.
- The candidates then need to register on the official website by providing a username and password.
- Next, the candidates need to log in with their credentials and fill out the online application form.
- Candidates then need to enter all the required details, as mentioned in the form.
- Then fill in the preferred T.F.C. for document verification.
- Next, pay INR 500/- (INR 250/- for SC/SCA/ST categories) and then finally submit the form.

I had applied to Various colleges like Amrita Vidhya Vishwapeetham and Vellore Institute Of Technology and Manipal Institute Of Technology , but i joined this college due to its name amidst the other colleges

i have applied for kumaraguru and PSG colleges but i have choosen this college finally because of the placements oppurtunites and excellent infrastructure. no i didnt get any rejections from any of the applied college . there are two types of admission in our college . one is counselling who gets high mark they can come in counselling and another is management quota is for low scored students.

- The support from all the Teaching staffs and non teaching staffs are excellent and they dont even say no for any helps that we ask for.
- The quality of infrastructure is very good and the college is maintaining the green and clean campus.

- The Rules are very strictly followed which is disliked by everyone.

Admission:
This college gives us a clean and green campus with a excellent interior and overall a good learning experience .so i chose this college over other colleges. no I didnt get any rejections from other colleges i have apllied even there i have been shortlisted for admission. there are 2 process of admission in our college . one is by counselling and another is management. if you score good marks and if you have good cut off marks you can join the college through counselling and if you dont score good marks you can join through management quota.

This college is one of the top most college in this surrounding areas.so I gave my first priority to this college in counselling and got admission letter from his college. The main reason is that this college gives 99% placement to all students in their interested fields either in IT industries or core related companies.

Bannari Amman institute of technology is the colllege among top 10 collage of coimbatore and erode district They prefer to see cutoff above 90 and for Sc , St caste 70 admission process through counseling and management

- College environment and wide area of land with lot of trees make it really good atmosphere inside the college.
- The infrastructure is very good. The high quality labs and everything inside the campus.
Dislikes
- There is no non-veg for the students provided by the hostel mess or college mess. But still there is canteen we can pay and eat non-veg foods
- We don't have Saturday leave. But they give extra four days leave in the month-end.
Admission:
In counseling my first preference is BANNARI AMMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. Because my most of the relatives studied here and they are well placed in their own domain. We know that the placement in the college is very good compared to the other colleges I applied. Because BANNARI AMMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY also have that benchmark name. Like we have online government counselling and the management quota for the admission in the college.

There is no any entrance exams. The TNEA counselling is enough to get into the college.Those who wants to choose IT and computing departments need to have a cut off above 170. For core branches 140+ cut off is enough.

- The campus life is the best one in BIT because they provide you the best atmosphere to learn and evolve
- The placement opportunities is excellent since they bring more number of companies and thats really great

- Their skill classes like day skill and night skill is not useful to that extent.The trainers need to be the best

The eligibility for my course is my grade 12 physics chemistry maths marks.my cutoff is 187 during the year 2021 which was affected by covid 19 and the application process is present in tngovt engineering councelling website.The frequency of exams is twice in a year which occurs in june and december month
