I would like to rate a 4 out of 5 to our curriculum .because they are well designed to learn and they are based on daily learning. Who would like to interest in it it will be very useful to use that. It is very helpful

Campus placements are there in this college .there are very good placements in this college . I am planning to secure a good placements while studying.compared to other colleges this college is better at placements of students I think so

College fee is 600000 and hostel and mess fees both combined is 107000 . I joined non scholarship category in Amrita viswavidyapeetam coimbatore. My branch is Aie .for eee it is 400000 for non scholarship.

Campus Life

Our campus of Amrita viswavidyapeetamat coimbatore is almost 400 acre area . It is very large and beautiful with so many trees and big foot ball ground and surrounding by mountains around the campus. Sports are very well encouraged in college

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is very clean and hygiene. The bath rooms also very good in maintanence.they clean the corridor of the hostels and also keep the bathrooms clean . But the mess food is very not very likely to eat

Admission

This college is very nice and ragging free. Here unlike other colleges they are not allowed to ragging. And also eco friendly campus they also take of every student and these are very important in students life

Faculty

The faculty in this college is very nice and they are very experienced in their profession. For our there are no semester exams.instead we will do projects based on our subjects.our marking schemes will be changed semester to semester

Night Life

It's very pleasent and it is very cool climate . The campus is full of lights . It is very peaceful in campus and mainly at nights. Some fests are very good and heart filled in the campus. Night is very friendly

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

Amrita and its Dubbing voice

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. I couldnt get vit because of high rank, in cuet exam i got seat at pondicherry university. but still chose amrita for its reputation, infrastructure, and curriculum. first you should attend an entrance examination called AEEE escpecially for amrita vishwa vidhyapeetham, which has 2 phases. after both phases you get placed in a ranking system. for each range of ranks each department holds a rank exceptancy of the entrance participants. other than AEEE you can also get throw using JEE marks...Read More

A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
