So i pay 3.5l for school fees and 50k for bus fees. I joined through jee mains scores and i scored 89 percentile....there is an amrita exam and u can get scholarship fees till 1l per anum....but if u get below 8sgpa in any semester u loose that and ull need to pay like 2 or 2.5l and it keeps on increasing the lower the marks(scholarship is only given to people who have joined through the amrita exam)

the university divides students into 4 slabs for alloting scolarships and these scolarships are given according to our performance in aeee exam slab-1: these students are top rank holders and these people pay about 1,50,000 and only 10% of the students are alloted slab-1 scolarship slab-2: these students are good rank holders and these people pay about 2,75,000 and about 20% of the students are alloted slab-2 scolarship slab-3:the students are moderate rank holders and these people pay about 4,00,000 and about 30% of the students are alloted slab-3 scholarship slab-4: these students are non-scolsrship students they did not secure any good rank to avail any scolarship and these people pay upto 6,00,000 rs/yr

The curriculum is top notch here. Its the exact things the industry demands at this moment. The courses are extremely well defined in every domain to shape us for the future right from the first year.

I am currently pursuing btech in CSE(AI) in amrita under slab 2 category of scholarship. There are currently 3 slabs of scholarship: slab1- 150000 slab2- 275000 slab3- 400000 and non scholarship- 600000 Scholarship slabs are decided based on ranks in JEE MAINS and AEEE score. Other costs includes caution money which is around 10k for college and 10k for hostel. Also for foreign students the tuition fee is fully waivered. They only have to pay hostel and mess fees which amount to almost 75000 per year.

The yearly fees i'm paying now is 400000 as tution fee and 105000 as hostel fees and i have paid 100000 as donation in my first year as my seat was donation seat.we have caution fees as 10000 and regostration fees as 5000 , and for the supplementary it charges 700 for regular supply and 1500 for passed out batch and for additional slots it is 2500 and for re registration it is free for attending the classes .and my benchmates fees is 250000 as they came thorugh the rank in entrance exams.

My Amrita

To get inside the college we have to write an exam called AEEE or else you cane get inside by your JEE marks. If you are writing AEEE exam there will be a fee category( Slab wise). There will be two attemps for the exam and they will consider any one best marks. For each course the slab will be differing and for my course i got a rank of 630 and for this mark i got first slab.
