Amrita University admission process is primarily based on entrance examinations. It also offers merit-based admissions. For admission to its most popular academic program BTech, JEE Main or Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) percentile is considered. Seats are allotted through a centralized seat allotment process (CSAP) conducted by Amrita University. Apart from BTech, the MBA program is also popular at Amrita University. Admission to the MBA program is based on the score obtained at Amrita Common Aptitude Test (ACAT). The university also accepts CAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, and MAT scores.
The B.Tech program requires the applicants to have scored at least 60% in 10+2 with PCM. Also, they need to score 55% in each of the subjects. Based on the 2024 cutoffs, the expected cutoffs for CAT and MAT under the general category are 40 and 80 percentiles respectively.

Ans. Yes, Amrita University Coimbatore gives direct admission (management quota) for B.Tech if you don’t get in through entrance exams. Ques. Does Amrita University allow Campus transfer?
