Remarks

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is listed among the top 5 private engineering colleges in India and the college is also accredited A++ by NAAC. I feel that IIT are a little overrated so I decided to opt for Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as the college is very popular in the south and the faculty of the college is highly qualified, the education quality of the college is very good and the placement is also nice. To take admission in the college I have to clear my GATE which I did and I have to appear for the PI round after filling the application form from the college official website and I have to pay an amount of Rs. 1000. If anyone has not cleared GATE can also take admission by appearing on the college entrance test.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum of the college is the highest standard. The curriculum helps us to understand the basic concepts and fundamentals of computer technology and the importance of hardware, software programming and coding. The curriculum provides us with deep knowledge about coding and its uses in modern technology and modern industries.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is compulsory and we have to complete the 9-week internship program. To take part in the college internship program our names are registered with the college placement committee and they help us to choose the college for internships. The average stipend for internships is around 55k.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college has a good reputation in terms of placement and the college provides good placement packages. Most important the placement committee is fully responsible for the placement as they are able to invite good companies and help us during the placement rounds. The college placement committee makes sure that every one of us is placed as per our interests. The highest package for the batch was around 52 LPA and the average package was around 19 LPA. Few of my batch mates received pre-placement offers during the internship tenure.

Fees and Financial Aid

The average course fee is approx 3 lakhs and the return on investment is very good. The college does not provide any kind of special scholarship. But education loan facility is available and the admission staff will guide you for an education loan.

Campus Life

4.5

The college infrastructure is very well maintained and the college life is very good. The campus is culturally diverse and we get to learn a lot of new things about different cultures. The college organises many fests and competition like sports competition, debate, and quizzes competition. The college library is full of many books academics and non-academic books are available. The seniors and the administrative staff is very cooperative and friendly.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I have opted for a hostel facility and we have to register for a hostel during the admission time. The hostel rooms are good and properly ventilated. The bathrooms are properly sanitized and clean. The hostel mess food quality is good and the menu is very vast. The hostel provides us with a high-speed WiFi facility and 24 hours of water and power supply is available. The wardens and the staff are very good and cooperative. The hostel has all types of basic facilities as per our comfort.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the college is highly experienced and with good research work knowledge from the top universities of India. The college does not compromise with the quality of the faculty as 95% of faculty is of PhD level. The teaching methods of the faculty are very good and simple.
