There are 5-6 exams every semester and the difficulty of exams is medium level. In a class of 69 students, almost 6 students fail. The course curriculum is very good. The teachers are very helpful and the faculty advisor is very supportive.

A Dive into the life of SRMIST Chennai

The faculty to the student ratio is good. Classes are evenly divided in such ways that they cause not too much stress on the students while ensuring that the academics aren't affected. The faculties are good and mostly approachable. In particular I didn't find an unlikable faculty. There are 4 internal exams before the semester end exams. They are usually easy with exception being one of them might be hard. Most students easily clear the exams. The course curriculum is quite relevant

Faculty of humanities need to be more well furnished like engineering dept.

Students ratio are offcourse large than faculty members. And the relationship between students and faculty members are well good. I belong to BCA department so I like the FSH faculty. Their is no such faculty that I didn't like None Exam are easy if you understand the concept of study. There are two CT's exams and the. Model exam and then final semester exam. It not very tough to pass the exams but for some students who have very marks or very less attendance they might fail.

Our professors are prodigies of MIT so one can imagine the kind of tech knowledge they must be having.

Faculties from IIT Madras or MIT are the ones who teaches us. So one can imagine the kind of quality and knowledge they bring to the table. One favourite would be Neetu Sreveni mam as she is the most dynamic of all.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Very good method of teaching by using ppts and own notes.
Needed equal amount of north indian teachers.

There are 200+ teachers for b tech department and they have good relation with students.The best faculties are for 1st year to make them feel good.There are some faculties for maths they are bit harsh .They have 3 test and 1 end semester for each semester and the exam level is hard and sometimes mid level.

The faculty at SRM University is well qualified with most holding phds or higher degreew .the faculty to students ratio is 1:20 , so professorw can give attention id approached. Many are friendly and approachable beyond class w guiding on projects and career queries. I particularly liked my data structures and mathematics professors as they explained and interactive with ral world examplew and interactive methods .

Person with expectations, College full of regrets

Faculty is quite of a decent, some have a great knowledge about the course they are teaching and mostly just come and read the PPTs on the Screens. I must say that the some facilities are supportive and would really help you out with everything.

Mentorship throughout your course is provided

Most genuinely I liked the faculty i had. The faculty and student relationship is very good and the faculty is very easily approachable. They are always there to help you with everything you need or have doubt about. Even 2 mentors are allocated to every class for their betterment. I liked most the maths faculty, it's very remarkable. There are 3 exams now - 2 internals, 1 external and 1 practical examinations. Internals compared to externals are a little complex but they all are easy to clear and there are very few students who fail to cler the exams. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course.

SRM KTR review

The faculty is very good. There are professors who are IIT PHDs and who have worked abroad.

Thw faculty to student ratio is good. The faculty to student relationship is good. It is very easy to contact your professors. Each class has its own faculty advisor and academic advisor. There are too many exams but they start out easy.

My SRM review

The curriculum consists of 4 ct tests and when they're marks are added up with assignments and lab records they make 60% of the overall grading and the end sem exam does the rest. The faculties are really friendly and approachable. There is a lot of student teacher interaction going on despite the the 70 student classes.
