B.com course provides a good balance of theory and practical knowledge and good foundation in subject like Accounting, business law , economics and management. In terms of real world application , the course does a good job , especially with accounting and business law. One area for improvement is teaching method , the lectures are informative but mostly theoretical .

SRMIST Vadapalani offers great internship opportunities for B.Com General students, giving them the chance to gain practical experience while still studying. The college partners with well-known companies across various industries to help students build their skills, companies like TCS , CTS, WIPRO , INFOSYS visit during placements Interns are given projects like: Financial analysis and reporting for companies like HSBC and Deloitte. Why students choose this college over any other college?

The reason I choose this college because SRM is a brand in education and it has NAC++ rating. placement opportunities are here with better packages. The other reason for choosing this college is due to short distance from my home to the college. Eligibility to join this college is you need to score minimum 60% in 12th board exams . I applied for dg vaishnav but i didn't get seat there because I didn't match the eligibility criteria.

The nightlife at SRMIST Vadapalani is pretty calm, with a focus on academics and relaxation after a long day of classes.The cafeteria closes around 8:30 PM, and the library is open until 9:00 PM for those who want to study late. For hangout spots, students often gather at the cafeteria or sit in the open spaces like the lawns. Outside the campus, there are a few popular places like Phoenix MarketCity, a nearby mall with food courts, cafes, and a movie theater. A Truth about Academics and Campus Life

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very good because we have smart classroom projectors and the rooms are air conditioner
My college has so many clubs ,forums and as various opportunities to grow in the career like Abdul Kalam research forum ,Students club,etc...

Dislikes

Sports activities are comparatively less then the other college
There is no ground near this college and for this college

Admission:

There is no entrance exam for this course in the college. We have to apply through SRM portal to apply for this particular course . We have to be above 60% in the 12th standard. I also applied for DG Vaishnav but I did not get selected and also uploaded for SRM I got admission in it

I have applied for gurunank and dg vaishnav college and got selected in gurunanak but in dgv i got rejected due to the cut off marks didn't meet the requirements , but still I opted for SRM vdp in search of new opportunities and career building factors

The honest experience of fresher in university

I like the college infrastructure and the professors with years of experience
The diversity of students living there people form all over India come there it is good opportunity to improve communication skills

Dislikes

I don't like that the college is fully not completed in construction around 30 percentage of college construction is done
The college is in outskirts of Amaravati the road that we want to reach to the college is not that good it has to be improved

for our sports requirements we want to go main campus only in this campus to has no such facilities
this campus located behind the hospilal of the college onlyh so parking our vechiles is very dificuklt and we want to park near by areas and come to college and the collag own parking area is far away from the college we want to park in that area

Admission:

The eligibility of the course to complete 12th std and the mark required is not that much high in this college we can apply to this college if we have low marks in our 12th std we can find the application form on their website itself. Their frequency of exams is good they are precut in the admission process and don't want to improve

BEST University in chennai

Admission:

The admission process was simple and easy as I applied through online and the eligibility criteria was minimum 60-70% in 12th .The application form and dates are available in the online. According to my perspective after attending all the semester exams i feel it was easy for me to attend my exams without any arrears as the faculty are very kind and polite towards their students and even they are ready to help students regarding any doubts to be cleared .

Campus structure, it was really great place for a introvert candidate

Dislikes

Limited resources, as it was a small campus considering the other neighbouring campuses l, it has a ver low resources for entertainment.

Admission:

It was really easy, there was no entrance exam as it was a autonomous college. Eligibility for the course is 12th pass. Application form can be found in the campus reception or in online. I am not sure on the reservation benifits as I didn't avail it.Making the addmission process fully online would be great as it will be convenient for some parents as they don't have time to spare in their work space.

Bachelor of Arts is not available at SRM University Vadapalani. There are other courses offered by the university in the fields of Science, Administration, Computer Applications etc.
