Hostel Facilities:

In SRM University per room, 3 to 4 members. The size of the room is good. The meals are also good to eat, really equal to home food. The room is very affordable. Breakfast is good than in other colleges. In the hostel room per person, one cart and a separate table and chair to sit and study are available. Proper ventilation is also available.

About SRM

Hostels are good. Coming to food, food is average. Most of the students prefer hostel for 1st year then they move to outside hostels or rooms, there will add form for registration. I have rented a room after my 1st year.

My Review

I am a day scholar, so I don't use hostel. I heard from friends that the hostel is not good and they prefer to stay in rented apartments at a lesser cost and better facilities from 2nd year onward. The food is average and a basic standard of living can be expected.

Hostel infrastructure is quite good with proper ventilation and proper facilities like for electricity backup generator is there,24 hour water supply is there.From hostel bus connectivity is quite good.Out of 5 I will rate it 4.

Good College

Hostel facilities was just ok for the price which they have offered, because there was no AC and the price was only for a Non-AC. There may be a chance that the policies have changed now, but I have heard it is more than which I have paid earlier. I could rate hostel facilities as 6 in the scale of 10. Hostel expenses also included the transport fees because the hostel wasn't near by the campus, but it was around 5-6 kms from the college.

I would rate 4 on 5 for hostel facilities they are good nd provide good facilities they provide free wifi and nice nd hygienice wash rooms. The sweepers sweep the floor daily hostels are maintained good.

The faculty here are very good and friendly There are many technical and annual festival for 1st year and seniors . Every week an informative session and events are held . The books available here is 75% for all the subjects The campus doesn't have that much facilities for sports and extracurricular activities

A Truth about Academics and Campus Life

The annual day will be conducted once in a year other than that we celebrate Pongal festival, Diwali ,Navratri ,etc.. We also have library and anyone can access it easily.The college also has smart TV and Sports will be very good for Sports - quota and other division players,other than that sports meet will be conducted once in a year during Feb. We also have Students Council, Research Forum it makes students to overcome fear and to lead a group .

Little boy's life at srm

For me the campus life is good we get so many opportunities to showcase our talents and sharpen our skills as we got to near 12 to 15 forums to join and develop ourselves the infrastructure is not that much to say off as it is just a 6 acre campus with a 2 floor accommodation for arts and science.
