The campus is really good and has a lot of greenery
You get exposure a lot compared to other colleges

Too many enrolments in my course there is always a crowd
Teachers are less involved with children which is also a plus point

Course Curriculum Overview

I love cse becoz of programming and one advantage of srm is that it is near the hug of industries so south companies give preferences to the students who are studied from the south colleges and like you will get placed if you work properly

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 485000 per year

Placement Experience

I am 2nd semester student so right now I am not eligible but in 5th semester you get to sit in interviews and like the placement round and if you are a bright student you can be placed by that time i guess the highest package last year was i guess 57 lakh and average was 8 lacs

Fees and Financial Aid

It cost 475000 in total and 10000 registration fees first year only and they even ask for 3700 as exam fees before ever semester exam which i think is wrong because we are already paying so much already

Campus Life

You get a lot of exposure here it is too good for that you have clubs for literally everything and you can enjoy your life here with being getting noticed , if you come to srm try joining cherry + networks becoz it's the best club in the campus and only takes limited people so you really get to learn there

Admission

Yes i would choose it against upes becoz upes is not good for cse there is no proper faculty or anything they are just know for petroleum and that is the only course they teach well but in srm there is a crowd but the same thing is work hard you will get placed

Faculty

Every 72 students have one faculty which is reasonable but like the whole course couldn't enjoy an event at once becoz of so many people and the hall or auditorium gets filled , the exams are good level like not very easy if you do the work properly you learn a lot

Night Life

The campus is really strict when it comes to security there is a in time for girls it is 7:30 and boys 9 and if you don't stick to that you will have to face consequences and girls safety is there first property The campus is very safe

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

SRMIST is superb in all sense!!

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG. Entrance is their for SRM University and one has to clear that to get admission here.
