ABOUT GRT ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Engineering is my passion ...I was not depending upon college ...I'm on my own . I has the interest since 10th grade . But the thing is the college curriculam is very much backward not only here...but mostly . If the management can arrange of a reality check up kinda thing session for first year ..it would encourage them to learn concepts interestingly . Assignments are irrelevant and placements sessions from 2nd year is a must thing ...exams should be conducted with maximum interval.

A service based company has offered internship for a 3 year senior with 65k as a monthly stipend ...and most of the 3 and 4th years are busy with internships .every departments students are given separate projects ...even I have built an attendance maintanence system using face recognition...but with my own interest...

The highest has been 12LPA here , but percentage of students are above 80% because students with first level CGPA are allowed to attend the interviews My aim is to become a software engineer at top tech companies like FAANG or any product based companies

Year wise I have paid 135000 for my first year. The tuition fee is 50000 with other fee 20000 and caution fee comes within other fee and 65000 for hostel , I came through TNEA counselling , my friends paid a sum of 200000 nearly .. 7.5 reservation scholars can pay 0 amount .

Culturals are held annually ..but most of the time ...the events are not conducted much other than sports day. ..don't expect much ...the library is the only place I think I felt good books are immensely useful here ..with passed out students projects report wh ih help in creating our own projects and stuff .few students create their own. community and I have joined one...few students are immensely passionate here...but most of them don't know what to do in college ...like minded people are very few

The room is provided with 2 fans and four beds with a wall between which is good . And we have been provided with 4 study tables and study lights and and 4 cupboards and a shelf wh ih is pretty good . Registration process is not complex ...just fill up the form ..and the warden will tell the accomodities present over here ..and will give you the room key

I have applied for around 50 colleges ...mostly goverment and few private ...I had a very severe situation ,I got this one...i didn't had any second chance . I wanted the course so badly.. so without any enquire I joined directly ..but students around ..should make an analysis and visit the campus before the admission .

Tehers are much good and better..they don't speak for the college ...they talk about reality of interviews after college and stuff which is good...few teachers don't care at all ...but mostly teachers are very friendly here . Exams are pretty ok ...if you focus on classes ...else it's kinda difficult ..not much ..many students fail . ...but they clear it soon

Gym are available ...no such thing called cafeteria here...and one of the most drawback thing in the hostel or overall college is there is a phone timing ...from 7 to 8 30 ..which is a bullshit rule for an engineering institution ...we will have to submit it . This is the worst rule I ever seen here
