CEG Guindy Admissions 2025
Candidates may apply to CEG Guindy by following the steps given below. The candidate must pay a registration fee of INR 800 + GST.
- Candidates should apply only via the online web portal: cfa.annauniv.edu/cfa
- The candidate should use a valid and functional e-mail id and mobile number for registration of online applications. This email-id and mobile number must be maintained active, as all the communications to the candidates will be sent only to the registered e-mail id and mobile number
- An application without any one of the relevant certificates, mark sheet, and photograph will be rejected.
- The Candidate should pay the Registration fee as detailed below only through Online Payment (only through Credit Card / Debit Card).
- The candidate need not send the printout of the online application or any other documents to the University.
- The applications received directly other than the online application portal will not be considered and will be rejected.
- The overall rank and community-wise rank lists will be published in Anna University, Chennai website.
- The Counseling for Admission will be conducted only through Online mode.
- The Web Portal for exercising the choice of the branch of study will be enabled after the publication of the Merit List. Selection of the college and the Programme is the sole responsibility of the candidate.

CEG Guindy Scholarship Guidelines
CEG Guindy follows specific guidelines when granting scholarships and financial assistance to students. These guidelines have been listed below.
- These scholarships will be awarded to the 1st Year students of all branches of B.E./B.Tech. of College of Engineering Guindy based on Merit-cum means.
- Only one Scholarship is available for each year of 4 year study.
- The students who got selected for the scholarship can continue to receive the scholarship in subsequent years provided, if they have passed all the subjects in the first attempt with minimum CGPA 6.5
- In case any student does not satisfy the above in the subsequent years, a new student from the same year of study will be selected based on the merit-cum- means.
- The Annual income of the parent must be less than Rs.2,00,000/-.
- The student selected for the award of this scholarship should not avail any other scholarship.
- Students have to submit their application through their Class advisors with necessary recommendations.
CEG Guindy Campus & Facilities
CEG Guindy has a sprawling 223-acre campus, which is home to various facilities for students.
- Central Library: Anna University has a central library, which can be accessed by CEG Guindy students. Known as Shodhganga, this library is home to a collection of books, magazines, journals, eJournals and other useful databases. Various facilities for internet browsing and e-services are also available in the library for the convenience of students.
- Hostels: The CEG Hostels comprises 22 blocks (located at CEG Campus), out of which boys are accommodated in 14 Blocks and Girls in 8 Blocks.
