Anna university- A glimpse into the college life

Likes

The campus is a very good campus and good exposure

Dislikes

The placements for Masters degree are low compared to UG

Faculty:

The faculties in the department are good. The staff to student ratio is pretty decent. The curriculum is revised once in every 5 years, by consulting the alumni who work in the industry. Overall it is a good college.

CEG - A balance between academics and passion

Likes

Beautiful green campus with tons of trees and animals including monkeys and puppies
Awesome fests, there's always some technical or non technical event going on

Dislikes

College timings are pretty long, 8 30 to 4 45
Too many snails during rainy season, a big hindrance to walk lol

Faculty:

Most faculties are very approachable and friendly. I'm just in first year but so far all the teachers I have had are nice. Especially Dr Murali in Physics department, he is god, he gave his own notes and he makes the hrdest concepts seem easy. About exams, we have two assessments and then a final exam, haven't written any yet so can't comment much on that. As far as I've heard from seniors, the exams are mid but scoring a cgpa above 9 is pretty hard and needs a lot of work

Faculty:

They are really well trained and educated for us to give current updates in the subjects and well practical knowledge with all students in the labs and well maintenance of lab with good faculty people. ppl with lot of talents and supportive nature for the student.

Faculty:

Most of them are really good in their respective subjects. They know their subjects like the back of their hand. They genuinely try their best to get the students to grasp the concepts. Only a very few staff are not as you would expect. But nevertheless all the staff are extremely friendly and easily accessible.

Gender portrayal in Sports

Faculty:

All the lectures had prior on field experience. Most of them are 35+ old professors, some of them were phd students also. Since I was in media industry most of the faculty were from newspapers, television industry. Around 10-15 staff are part of the electronic media at Anna university.

Faculty:

All institution have both best and blunt faculty. Since its a government institution, some of the faculty really working hard for the upliftment of the students. Some professors even pay the bills of college fee and all. Knowledge wise extraordinary and supportive staffs.

Faculty:

No of lecturers almost :15 highly skilled lecturers with phd certification. Many of them from the industrial backgrounds & few of them from etching background alone with minimum 25 journals published by them. But if we approach for them only they will help you in detail subject skills else they will teach as per carriculum.

The faculty who took the subjects are all professors with a PhD in reputated Institute and they are all above 40 years with maximum 10 to 15 years experience in the teaching field and they often bring industry people to conduct seminars and lecture to improve the technical knowledge of the students.

Faculty:

All of the professor with PhD and a subject matter expert. They are very good in teaching and research work to contribute to the country in the technical way. Their ratio is 1:4 for teaching.their average age of working is 55. They have very good industry experience cum teaching.

Faculty:

The faculty is good most of staff are highly qualified. But some of them are teaching fellow so we can't except lot from them, there way of teaching is difficult to get. There are 50 staffs in my department most of them are age between 40-50.few lectures working for government projects to.
