Memorable College

Our college is one of the oldest and top institution in India.

4 years of Engineering courses divided into 8 semesters. Exams will be conducted at the end of each Semester. For each subject 3 hours of exam. Grades will be given as S,A,B,C,D,E. E grade refers Reappear. Two project must be done on 3rd and final year of the college.

Placement will start at the month of August to Feb. Corporate IT companies will recruit the people irrespective of dept.

Techofess is the oldest cultural fest in India. 4 days event having dance, singing, quiz. At the end of each evening, an premium event will happens like DJ night, Movie Screening, Music Band live concert by the popular singers. During my time, hip hop aathi, Sean Roldan, karthick subburaj, Vijay, Atlee, Dhanush and much more celebrity will come. All the 4 days class will be suspended, no assessment etc. Dept wise symposium. Kurukshetra a technical event.

It's an govt institution, very less fee compared to any other college in Tamilnadu. There are several categories of fee in the structure. Fees for Odd semester is nearly 7500, even semester is 6600. At the time of admission 1000. It includes development fee, computer fee. Apart from this fee, separate fee for each exam will be paid Rs.150.

Government provides the scholarship based on the community at the end of each year during the course. Rs.4000 per year. For SC/ST students Rs.11000 will be given.

There are 20+ clubs in our college like Dance, singing, Music band, Thamizh, theatre artist, NCC, NSS, Robotics club, Green brigade and so on. Twisters crew is one of the famous dance crew actively participate in competitions across the college in Tamilnadu.

90% of the student in the college are hostellers from all over the state. Food is the most important thing to remind. Rs.44000 a year, unlimited Food for veg and non veg. Weekly thrise for Non veg. Mushroom and panner for veg students.

Separate building for Alumni inside the college premises itself. Annual meet will be done, scholarship will be provided for needy people. Mock interview for the final year students will be organised by the Alumni centre. Separate social network for alumni is available.

Based on the 12th std marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Maths Cut-off marks is arrived out of 200. Physics and Chemistry marks converted out of 50. Maths converted out of 100. Based on the marks, Government create a list, students will we call for the counselling and students choose the college of their choice if seats are available.

All institution have both best and blunt faculty. Since its a government institution, some of the faculty really working hard for the upliftment of the students. Some professors even pay the bills of college fee and all. Knowledge wise extraordinary and supportive staffs.
