For leather technology, they teach theory as well as practicals. So it is very helpful for understanding the syllabus and industry knowledge. But the syllabus is too old when it is compared to the industry knowledge.

I chose this course since my interest was in pharmaceutical chemistry and basic anatomy. Faculty-student ratio is good. The faculty is divided into the professor, associate professor, assistant professor, teaching fellow, and lab staff. The minimum qualification of the faculty is master's degree and a maximum number of post doctorate. For each subject, you have 2-3 internal assessments and 1 semester university exam. The internal semester can be written, objective, seminar ppt, viva voice, assignments, etc. The exam level is difficult but it can be easily cleared with minimum preparation. Revision of internal assessment and basic concepts is more than enough.

I choose this course because it was available at Anna University and had a tie-up with the central leather research institute. Faculty to student ratio was 1:40 which is a good ratio. Teaching was done from 2nd year by scientists of CLRI which was very good. Exams were 3 internal exams and 1-semester exam.

I chose this course as my relative did the same course and is successful in the field. The faculty-student ratio is 1:70, but it's actually good to be honest, as the faculty focuses on everyone equally. All the faculties have completed a Master and the professors have a Doctorate and many patents to their name. Their teaching methods are very good and I love the faculties here. The term exams occur once in 5 months and they were pretty okayish, if you study well you can score a good amount of marks.
You can get SC/ST scholarship, Alumini scholarship for the people with good grades in first two semesters and first graduate scholarship. There is no other scholarship you can get. For Alumini scholarship there will be an interview.
The fees structure is more affordable for poor students like me. this college provides scholarship for poor students. The scholarship gave financial assistance for me and poor students.campus interviews are also held.
My course are very special. In our college changing the syllabus and updating the things a lot. Faculties are good to teach and update the latest things also. Every sem we are going to industries for visit and learn many many things.
Course is good because we were nurtured in CLRI which is one of the best institute for leather in entire Asia. CLRI also has top class laboratories. All faculties were top notch and were good at teaching. They empowered us.
The placement for this department is low compared to other departments in our college. The academics is good with proper plan of study and faculties are very talented and well gained knowledge to teach
Fee Structure is quite nominal to that of the other College which provide same course of m.tech in food technology. 20000INR is asked for one semester from the students of the same course. All the extra charges are included in the same.
