Course Description
- Go through the college site www.annauni.edu/act/.
- Fill the university form and the college form as well.
- Pay the registration fee. Rs.500 through a DD.
- Submit the desired documents to complete the application process.
- Keep a separate photocopy of the form and all the original documents, which need to be submitted in the college.
- The merit will be prepared on the scored and ranking based on TANCET/GATE and TANCA.
Admission Criteria
The admission notice is published in all the leading news papers and in the TAMIL NADU ENGINEERING ADMISSION TNEA website. The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.
Eligibility Criteria
The admission to UG programmes is purely based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary examinations.

- SC/SCA/ST Students including Converted Christians whose parental income is below 2.5 lakhs csn avail SC ST scholarship from Govt.
- SC/SCA/ST Students including Converted Christians whose parental income is above 2.5 lakhs can avail Tuition fee from Govt.
- 7.5% Reservation candidates need not to pay fee as per Govt. norms.
- NRI candidate has to pay fee as per centre for International Realtion (CRI) NORMS.
- First graduate concession is applicable only for the students who has first Graduate certificate (with a list of 7 family members including students).

Fees and Financial Aid:
Basically, you have to pay 20K per semester for the course, and I don't know about the hostel fees as I am a day scholar. This fee amount is very less and benefits every student in a large manner. There are a lot of scholarships offered too. I don't know about them, but if you don't have the resources to study, you'll get the deserving scholarships and you can study free of cost too.

You can get SC/ST scholarship, Alumini scholarship for the people with good grades in first two semesters and first graduate scholarship. There is no other scholarship you can get. For Alumini scholarship there will be an interview.

Fee Structure And Facilities:
The entire fee structure for B.Tech chemical engineering combining 8 semesters is 2.73 Lakhs INR. This includes tuition fees and other fees within the entire mentioned amount. Honestly, for me, the fee structure was pretty fine.
