Course Curriculum Overview

Course is good because we were nurtured in CLRI which is one of the best institute for leather in entire Asia. CLRI also has top class laboratories. All faculties were top notch and were good at teaching. They empowered us.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1000000 per year

Placement Experience

There is demand for B.tech in Leather technology in all over the world. So there is 100% of job opportunities and 99% of job placements within the campus itself. Yes, our college offer internship courses for diploma students from other regions in India. For that contact CLRI.

College Events

It is the best. Alagappa College of Technology (AcTech) is good. A. C. TECH is the best of the lot and constantly ranked among Top Engineering Institutes in India. All kind of lab facilities are available for each and every department. We have large sports ground for cricket and events with gallery for seating. Volley ball court, basketball court, foot ball court also available.

Campus Life

It has all infrastructures. Big play ground, all lab facilities to conduct our experiments. The library has the collection of books over 1,47,065, SC/ST Book Bank, several periodicals are available and newspapers. The library has also the collection of E-books more than 5000 and E-journals more than 20,000. Educational CDs are also available in the library for the students.

Admission:

The college followed strict criteria for admission. I had to have BDS degree in hand to seek admission in this course. There were no other formalities which were to be done during admission. I faced no issue back then.

Remarks:

Food in mess is not good compared to other amrita campus. The food is pure vegetarian. Non veg is strictly prohibited inside the campus. Other than that no particular issues can be found about the college.

Positive Remark is It Helps the Poor Peoples by giving Scholarships.And also The fees of the degree and hostel is very low. Negative Remark is Somerimes They treat like school children. There is very few department only places.
