The fee per year is INR 1.42 Lakhs for the Btech course at IITDM Kancheepuram including tuition fee, registration fee, exam fee, and other charges. The hostel and mess charges are INR 30700 per semester for girls and boys both. The SC/ST students are exempted from tuition fees and hostel charges are also exempted if the family income is less than 200,000. The minimum academic qualification for admission is a pass in 10+2 with PCM subjects’ combination or its equivalent. Admission will be based on performance in JEE Main and HSC examinations as per Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) guidelines through counseling conducted by the JoSAA/ CSAB for the respective year.
Speaking of General category, if you have qualified JEE Mains with 93%ile or more, then you can surely get admission to IIITDM Chennai followed by Josaa counselling.
