The hostel facilities at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITDM Kancheepuram) consist of five buildings, with three being newly constructed 14-story structures named Jasmine, Ashwatha, and Ashoka. Rooms are spacious, featuring individual beds, tables, chairs, cupboards, and attached balconies. First-year students share rooms, while single rooms are available for third-year and PG students. LAN connection and high-speed internet are provided in every room. The mess serves a variety of North and South Indian dishes, with special menus and non-vegetarian options twice a week.
A cafeteria and night canteen are also available. The hostel registration process is integrated with academic registration, and staying in the hostel is mandatory for students. The hostel fee is approximately 60,000 INR per year, inclusive of mess charges. Facilities include uninterrupted water and electricity, shared washing machines, and 24/7 medical support.
