IIITDM Kancheepuram offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and research-level programs. It offers a total of 25 courses across CSE, ECE, AI, Smart Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Design, and Humanities departments. Some of the UG and PG programs are B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Des. Integrated B.Tech + M.Tech programs are offered as well.
Admissions to UG and PG programs at IIITDM Kancheepuram are conducted through Entrance exams. To apply for the flagship B.Tech program, students require at least 75% in the 12th board exam with PCM as compulsory subjects. - For a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, preference will be given to a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering.
- In the case of candidates with more than five years of relevant experience after the Master's degree, the requirement of a test score may be waived by the Selection Committee.
- Foreign nationals should have a valid GRE/GMAT/GATE/NET/ICAT/JMET/TOEFL or an equivalent examination score in the relevant discipline to be eligible for admission.
- For Mathematics, candidates must pass in Master’s degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Computer Science or M.Tech or M.Tech with a Master’s degree in Mathematics/ Physics/ Statistics/ Computer Science.

- Upload a photograph which must be in JPEG format and below 50 KB in size.
- Next, log in as a registered user and select the mode of registration & broad area, and click Apply.
