IIITDM Kancheepuram Ranking 2026

Both oncampus and offcampus internship programs are avilable. I am going to second year now and I dont have much knowlage about interships. As i listen from my sinors CS students have more opportunities than other branches.

Research based internship in iits incudi g 15k stipend,Madeit foundation inside campus We can go outside for internships which wre mostly preffered. Also the proffesors here are willing ro give recommendation s accoring to our needs.

As I am a very fresher to the campus since i joined in this campus on August 2024 i have not yet asked my seniors about roles and internships We the 1st year students have formed seperate groups of 9 members and formed a real Cricket Bat and Every sem has different different projects.. But final year projects will be discussed in 3rd Year itself

The placements in our college are not that good , but we can grow in academics very weel and the skill set we get is very good , to learn and to grow our college is one of the best , if you only want placement, our college provides but the compition is very high in our college and you need more skills which is given by our college, our college also provides placement exam which helps you in placements

The placement in the college are very good and many of my friends who are senior tonus are placed and the percentage of students getting placed is more than 90 percent in my course and I am planning to go for higher studies as I have interest in research

In our 6th sem, companies start to come for internship roles, around march-april. And for full-time roles, companies come in both 7th and 8th sem. Sometimes, these companies also come for internship roles to offer 5th sem students, like Accenture in 2024. In our college, big companies hardly come for good package (above 15 lpa). Every year, around 5-6 companies come for this package range, mostly for CS students. Then other companies also come like NVIDIA, AMD, Accenture, Infosys, Zoho, Quantrium, and others as well. Many companies who come to the institute looking for students to work for them first tend to hire them as interns and then they give the well performing students a pre placement offer, recently amazon hired a student a intern for 1.1 lakh stipend per month. Every final year student will have to do a project which pretty important to complete the course, the projects are rewarded and the best one will be honoured with awards on the student's day of graduation.

From 4 th year , students could apply for placements and the percentage of students getting placement are really good in number . As i am pursuing my ECE degree, I am planning to get placed in Semiconductor industries like TATA XILINX and so on

internships can be enrolled from 2nd yrs onwards we can do interships from here itself or at iit madras under any professors last year many students get around 1lakh per month internships from ec and cs

From 6th sem,students are eligible for campus placements. GamesKraft,Zoom,KLA,Mathworks etc companies came to IIITDM Kancheepuram and almost 200 offers are made. Here,the highest package is 42LPA and the average package is 10.2LPA 97.55% students got placements.
