• Candidates seeking admission to an MBA program must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline. 
• Candidates must have secured at least 60% of their marks in graduation. 
• The candidate should have appeared for the entrance exam and have a valid entrance score such as CAT/ MAT/CMAT.
• The final selection of the program is done on the basis of the GD & PI round conducted by the institute itself.

The NIT Warangal does not offer the MSc in Biotechnology course. It offers an MTech in Biotechnology. The fee per year is INR 1.34 Lakhs for the MTech in Biotechnology. Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognized university/Institute. The fee per year is INR 2.07 Lakhs for the Btech in the ECE branch at the NIT Warangal. The per semester Tuition fee is INR 62500, and other fees is INR 41,000. NIT offers B.Tech in various specializations. The minimum educational to apply is 75% marks in 10+2 or top 20 percentile in the 10+2 by the respective board. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects at 10+2 level. Admissions will be based on JEE Main conducted by CBSE. Students who qualify for the entrance exam will have to appear for the centralized counseling by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).

NIT offers the Mtech in full-time mode. NIT Warangal M.Tech admission 2024 will be based on the GATE scores followed by CCMT counseling. The online registrations for the CCMT 2024 will begin in June 2024 (tentative). NIT Warangal MTech (Self-finance) admissions 2024 is also going on and interested candidates may apply for this program from March 4 to April 30, 2024. The M.Tech programme at NIT Warangal is for 2 years of which 2 semesters is coursework and 2 semesters of dissertation work. The admission mode for the M.Tech. is online and is based on GATE score. Then applicants who want to apply for M.Tech programs at NIT, Warangal have to apply through the CCMT website based on their GATE scores. Candidates must have cleared B.E/BTech or equivalent in a relevant discipline with 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute. Candidates must have appeared for the GATE exam for the relevant years. Candidates who have studied in a Bachelor’s program in correspondence mode should belong to IGNOU Institute. Candidates will be selected based on their GATE scores. Based on the GATE Score, a merit list will be prepared and the shortlisted candidates need to register for the CCMT Counselling. In this stage, candidates will be allotted seats on the availability of seats in the institute and their rank. GATE CCMT Counselling process consists of five stages. These include: 

Stage 1: Online CCMT Registration, Choice Filling, and Locking

Stage 2: Online CCMT Seat Allotment & Seat Acceptance Fee Deposit

Stage 3: Online CCMT Document Uploading and Submit Willingness

Candidates are required to exercise one of the following willingness when they report to the RC:

• Floating: if they wish to be considered in the next round for all of their higher preferred choices.
• Sliding: if they wish to be considered in the next round for their higher preferred choices only within the Institute allotted to them.
• Freezing: if they are satisfied with the currently allotted seat and not interested in their higher preferred choices in the subsequent round.

Stage 4: Online CCMT Document Verification

• Document verification will be done by the verifying officer of the respective allotted institute only in the online mode.
• After successful verification of documents, an ODVC (Online Document Verification Certificate) will be generated.

Stage 5: Online Admission in the Finally Allotted Institute- After successful online document verification by the finally allotted institute, the candidates will have to pay the balance admission fee to the respective Institute in online mode.

Students seeking admission to the School of Management at NIT Warangal must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates seeking admission to an MBA program must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

GATE is mandatory for MTech admissions at the NIT Warangal, however, you can get admission to MTech a Self-financed course without a GATE score. The admission to the Mtech self-financed course is based on the written Test and Personal Interviews.
