NIT Warangal - One of the Top NIT's

Fees and Financial Aid:

The year wise fees I am currently paying is 8000 USD becuase I have joined through DASA quota. The tution fee is 8000 USD and the hostel fee is common for all ( 42500 INR ). My classmates who joined through JEE route pay a compartively low fee of 62500 and hostel fee of 42500. My classmates who belong to ST category do not pay tution fee and only pay hostel fee. There are many schlorships available based on family income and merit.

Total fees including hostel is 300000 and stipend provided to ph students by gov who qualified Exams . St, sc category student are excempted from tution fess only give fess for hostel and all. Scholarship amount is 12400.For some other courses like computer science and vsl may be fees are high.

For every sem it will be 35000 tution fee and we had mess fee separately.. Every thing is good here... We can learn and explore many new things.. And the scholarship for students through ccmt is like around 12,400 per month

My admission is based on self-sponsored category. The fee for first semester is 1,02,500 and 43000 for hostel. The hostel fee is split into various options like hostel room booking fee, mess charges. The fee for next semester will be 60,000(course fee) and 27000 for hostel. The students who get admission through CCMT, will get some reiumbursement. Like students belonging to ST category, they will have zero course fee.

The year-wise semester fee is 62000, and the other fee for the first year is 41000. After the first year, the semester fee is the same, while the other fee is only 11000. There is no other fee for an even semester. The other fee includes all fees like caution fees(around 11000 for the first year), registration fee ( 5000), development fee, lab fee, and other miscellaneous fees. The college provides various scholarships; the primary scholarship is NSP, which provides all expenses of the college, including a laptop in the first year. There are also other organisations of college that provides scholarships ( alumni's funds).

No, students don't need to be accommodated in the hostel. The hostels have good sanitation proper water facilities and 24-hour security is always there. They have a single and a double occupancy (triple in rare cases). Rooms contain a fan, an LED, and a LAN port that connects to the college internet. The Menu changes every day for a week with different recipes. The registration process for a hostel is simple with online payment and registration.

NIT Warangal, the previous year's GATE Cutoff for the General Category was 476-566, for OBC 351-399, and for SC 257-206 for the Mtech in biotechnology course. Candidate must have passed BTech in relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognized university/Institute. Final-year appearing students may also apply on a provisional basis

The ST category students are exempted from the semester fee for the Btech courses at the NIT Warangal. The other fees to be paid include 1,000 (refundable) and 40,000 (JOSAA Counselling, Admisison fee, Development fund, Medical health services, tournament, career development, student library fees, etc.)
