I choose nit Warangal because of good placements stats, as in the year 2023 the avg package of my mechanical branch is 14lpa which is good if you compare other nits. I wish there must be a some change in curriculum. Including mid semester and endsemesters exams there are minor test which is of 15 marks in each subjects

course curriculum is very much relevant to industry level.it helps in getting real time industry experience. Schedule for classes is also very flexible.3-4 classes happen in a day. weekly labs are also done for the hands on experience. In every semester 2 minors, 1mid exam and 1 end exam conducted to evaluate the grades of the students. grading system is relative. Sometimes surprise tests are also conducted by few teachers. after the exams solutions are provided to check answers. Evaluation is also done on time and in the presence of the student. If i have to suggest something will be teaching by hands on board rather than by projectors.

Basically I choose this course because of my interest in mechanical engineering there are many labs in which all practical thing we learn .I personally don't like relative grading it should be absolute . Approx after every one and half one we have to give exam like quiz ,mid ,end exam and notuch difficult

The course I have chosen is mechanical engineering. I am already interested in this course but in nitw, some hectic schedule getting trouble for me. But the courses are good for thermal and design, manufacturing but some old courses are also given. They should not be important in nowadays I think.

Course curriculum focuses more on building concepts and sticking to the basics and letting students explore more in the fields they are really interested in while giving enough knowledge to make the exploring easier

Mechanical branch is the oldest branch herein Nit warangal .The college provides a decent faculty with an experience of years. The curriculum however is kinda hectic and messed up.Once you enter the field you'll get less time to go for the extra curricular activities as everything and anything here includes your attendance and academic performance

The mechanical engineering curriculum at NIT Warangal is a comprehensive blend of theoretical knowledge and practical applications. Covering diverse areas such as Automobile Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, Machine Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, System Engineering Design, and Thermal Engineering, it equips students with a holistic understanding of mechanical principles. The emphasis on hands-on projects, workshops, and internships drew me to this course, allowing me to apply theory to real-world scenarios. However, there’s room for improvement. Strengthening interdisciplinary integration and fostering collaboration with other departments would enhance innovation. Additionally, more industry interaction through guest lectures and internships would bridge the gap between academia and practical skills.Overall, NIT Warangal’s mechanical engineering curriculum prepares students for both further studies and the challenges.
