My college nit Warangal

I choose nit Warangal because of good placements stats, as in the year 2023 the avg package of my mechanical branch is 14lpa which is good if you compare other nits. I wish there must be a some change in curriculum. Including mid semester and endsemesters exams there are minor test which is of 15 marks in each subjects

Students can apply for internship after the 2nd year or 3 rd year based on their intrests, mostly every companies allow students for internship roles in both technical and core background. Students can apply for internship through mailing the professors.

Students are eligible for placement after the 7 th semester. In mechanical I can say mostly all psu come for recruitment which includes hpcl,bpcl,ongc etc and also some of private core companies came. Highest package was around 28.6 lpa,and the lowest was 6 lpa, average was 14 lpa I want to go for upsc after the graduation.

The fees structure is like 62500 is the tution fee for one semester only and which includes the 30000 other fee's. There is merit cum scholarship for the students who secured 9cgpa in whole semester which benifits in relaxation in tution fee.

There are mainly two big fest's in the college which are spring spree and technozian they were cultural fest and technical fest. There is huge central library in the college which consists of almost every book possible. There is white board and projector in mostly every classroom. There are various societies and clubs.

In the first year there is hostel name 1.8 k ultra mega hostel and the hostel room is not that big but fine for 2 person. Quality of food is good there is breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Registration process for hostel are online from college website.

The admission is strictly on the basis of jossa councelling through jee mains. And about cutoff is AIR 18526 in the last round of jossa councelling. There are categories reservation available in the college like gen ews, obc ,sc,st,PWD etc

The faculty to students ratio is fine because in our batch the whole department is distributed in 2 sections and in both the section faculties are same but classrooms are different. Mostly all the professor are PhD holders from respective iits or nits. There is very rare interaction of teachers and students after the classroom.
