Course Curriculum Overview

2

Frankly I choose metallurgy because of not my interest because I got this course in nit warangal based on my marks I want to enter nit in any way coming to the relevance of curriculum it is not way relevant to the real world they teach us still outdated topics without even taking in consideration of its any use students also run for grades For suggestions I would like to have curriculum mostly to have real life courses for example is everyone is studying just for the sake of money but they don't have any knowledge about financial education so it don't make any sense Yeah the exams are important and plays a important role there are exams for each semester we have two semesters in each year and total eight semester in the complete btech course

Placement Experience

4

At the end of 7th semester campus placements facilities are offered to the students most companies visit to the college to offer placements to the students from different sectors from ed tech to financial sector and ther offers made are count to 70% of the students A minimum of 50% of students get placed as of my research the average packege is 20LPA and highest packege is near to 68LPA offered to a ece student My plans after btech degeree is to pursue mba because enginnering is not my cup of tea

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for tution; Actual fees: 1.5 lakhs Fees waive based on income levels (Above 5 lakhs income) of the family:0% fees waive (Above 1 lakh and less than 5 lakhs) of the family:33% fees waive (Below 1 lakhincome) of the family:100% fees waive For SC and ST caste students the fess waive is 100% For Hostel and mess facilities approx 30 thousand per semester is mandatory to everyone Coming to scholarship they provide information of few schems initially but as of my experience they don't approve and offer scholarship they process is lag and time consuming there is a still a advantage for girl students they have seperated schems for them seperately they might have high chances of getting any good scholorship Nevertheless in this modern world providing this quality of facilities opportunities for such a affordable cost is worthy and great opportunity for Indian students to pursue education in such a prestigious college

Campus Life

3

Frankly speaking the relevance of this annual and technical festival in the current scenario is nothing they are waste of time as we are consuming vast of internet these events don't make any sense to me personally We have tech fest called technozion and cultural fest called spring spree I didn't liked technozion it is outdated and spring spree is quite impressive with pro shows and dj nights Yeah the same we books have 2 lakhs books they all are outdated and no one goes to library to study those books they prefer to learn from youtube The technological provisions are great in college we have seminar halls and lecture halls with great infrastructure but all doesn't matter when they teach subject in a interactive way and real life care studies I like sports and extracurricular activities offered by college I like business club they give great insights about case studies and how to create startups and business I like this clibvery much

Hostel Facilities

4

The room is quite good and each room is accomodation for 2 students they provide bed and cupboard to keep our clothes I don't like the menu but the meal quality is healthy but menu is not tasty and I don't feel it tasty Registration process for hostel is simple it is complete online through smile portal nonhindrmerences during the process I personally like to live in hostel inenjoy hotlstel life

Admission

I applied for all not colleges I preferred college over course because I want to pursue different goals than engineering so I choose best college colleges in nits I got confirmed from not warangal during josaa counselling Yeah I got rejected from nit Trichyy and nit surathkal because the cutoff was very high and I could not able to qualify the cutoff criteria The admission process is simple write jee mains qualify cutoff criteria and apply for josaa counselling and choose colleges according to your plan and wish

Faculty

2

The faculty student ratio is 1:80 coming to student faculty relationship as of my experience till now it is not great after boom of online education many students don't prefer to study from classes they prefer to learn from youtube from their favourite students who teach them in easy manner, The name of the facilities I liked still now his name Arockia he taught us a new subject called design thinking for me the course was full of curiosity and I enjoyed the complete course it was different from typical subject it was most based from practical real problems he taught us with real case studies and classes were great interactive I don't like biology sir his name is ramraju I don't have any complains with his teaching method but Even though it is quite known that it is not useful subject for us still he teaches us and make pressure to learn biology without thing is there any impact of it or not The are difficult and faculty creates the paper students learn the subject just for the sake to pass exams the curriculum is no way relevant to the current scenario we can create any code via chatgpt still the teach us old dated coding lectures without teaching us how to use ai to increase productivity in future

Night Life

4

We have a bakery near our hostel it is open till night it offers great snacks makes our nightlife a great experience Mentioning campus timing they allow to go out till night 10 am only and for hostel it is open 24 hours bo restriction Famous hangout places are A spot near administrative block called time square and lawn between metallurgical block and chemical block It completely safe and guards are everywhere to make sure we are safe

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 2nd semester onwards, all the students are eligible for the palcements except those who have more than 2 backlogs. The companies like COGNIZANT, AMAZON , POLTECH, IBM,SWIGGY ,etc many MNC comanies are also visited. The highest package as of my knowledge is 32lpa and the average package is 10lpa. 75% of the students get placed in the campus drives. And finally my plan is to get placed in the campus drives with good package.

Placement Experience:

The best part of the college is its placement of the college. Almost all companies visit the campus, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, and almost all. The average percentage of the college is around 85 percent. In Chemical engineering, the placement is a little bit, it's around 90 percent. I'm planning for placements on the Software side.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester the students are getting ppo , it's obvious because of nirf of nitw and top placements are here only. Around 80 percent of students are placed if we skip the biotech branch because they all go for higher studies Highest package was 88lpa last year and the minimum package is 6 lpa and average is about 13lpa I want to go for tech placements and want a package of 30 lpa that's enough for me
