Course Curriculum Overview

5

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program, data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual, lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself. In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the B.tech- Cse[AI&ML] at MLRITM is charged on a yearly basis and inclues multiple charges other than Tution fees .The annual tution fees for general student is 1,20,000/- where there no fee reimbursement for general OC students and for other Sc/St category student fees is the same but every year government provides a 30,000/- for this student to help them pay there fees where as admission fees is 15000 to lock your seat in the college. There is an another category where muslim minorities divison there complete fees is reimbursement is done by the state governemnt .Other than tution for 1st year students the college takes a 10,000/- as library fees which is covered for 2 years and for records and other books fees is 5000/- and they also provide lab coat which is 1500/- and for student who joins through donation for Computer science(CSE) donation is 6,00,000/- and also varies if it is division where donation will go upto 8,50,000/- . college provides drinking water and a canteen and also sport room and a sick room for the girls all the medical assistance is given through sick room itself.there a couple of may friends who have scolarships names K.sai krishna he is a general category student where he has a BPL certificate where government provides 30k where sem and also another who is an minority muslim girl name tammana rafee and she gets a complete fee reimbursement from governement every year which is tution fees.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with campus life has been balanced and engaging. the college conducts and annual cultural fest called Sarang, which is usually held in month of march.A technical fest is also organized every year, mostly jan and feb where students takes part in coding paper events , and project displays. The library is well maintained and has a good collections of academic books related to all branches. it also provides access to reference books, journals and past year papers. students can easily access books during college hours and the study space is clam and useful for exam preparation. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, white boards, and basic digital tools. some labs have computers with updated software, which helps students during practical sessions. The campus offers sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton and indoor games. cultural activities , technical events, and competitions are encouraged. there are students culbs are related to coding, culture and social activities . these clubs help students improve teamworks, confidence and communication skills.

Admission

I applied to several colleges in telengana throught emcet. I also explored many private colleges and few collegs offered CSE alligned and I received confirmed admission from MLRITM through convenor quota.I applied to had higher cutoff for CSE to my rank the seats are limited, I could not secure admission there. In some colleges so I had to chose MLRITM over other colleges it offered my prefered branch with a reasonable fee structure. when i compared to other colleges MLRITM provided good balance, location, facilities while some colleges have higher fees and less facilities compared to MLRITM .the structured academic system at mlritm also influenced my decision. the admission process at mlritm is simple and clear . for B.tech students must pass 10 plus 2 with mpc . the main exam is accepted is TS eamcet, which is perferred by most students. Admission is done through centralized counselling based on rank and cutoff. Management quota admission is also available. Overall, the admission process was smooth and transparent

Faculty

the kind of relationship we have in our college not every faculty is good to react have a pet talk with students and also try to guide to the students. for me personally one such good faculty we had b.prasad sir who has our java faculty and he was a person to be inspired of where he guided our batch to create a project which we made it to finals in SIH smart india hackthon finalist 2024 batch we are so close to get the title without his guidance we could'nt able have reached that stage its all come exposure so students in college where there a few faculties where they follow old methods to make student learn its completely different for someone who is coming from a cse background the coding needs logic and logic building comes from practice not from mugging the algorithms and the exam ciruclar we have 2 mid and a end sem exam .In mid term exams we write it for 40 marks amount of time we get is 2 hours and where as for sem it is 60 3 hrs of time . we fail to score in the end sem exam we have give the paper which is supply for each supply we have to pay 300/- the supply date often released with juniors in the college

Night Life

5

Nightlife around the college is clam and limited, as campus mainly focusses on academics.Inside the campus, the gym usually closes by evening . the library is open during college hours and closes before night. Cafeterias and food stalls inside the campus mostly closes by evening , so late night option is limited.Hostel students are required to return to their rooms by fixed hostel in time, which is usually around night.campus entry and exit is restricted after certain hour, and security is strict to ensure student safety.public areas inside the campus remain quiet at night, and students usually stay in hostel. students mostly unwind by spending with friends in hostel room, watching movies ,group studies or casual talk. some students visit nearby food place, tea stall, fast food centers and small restaurants near the main rood. the surrounding area is generally safe ,but students prefer to return early at night .these simple routines help students relax and maintain balance in college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is not upto the mark because the number of students being placed is decreasing every year. The students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester of the college. Many companies have visited the college for the placement drives but they have very less recruitments compared to the other colleges. The highest package of my college is around 8lpa whereas the average package is around 3.5lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is even less than 10% which I think is very poor and something needs to be done for this. I'm planning to get a job off campus if I don't get recruited on the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
