Course Curriculum Overview
One of the main aspects that influeneced my decision to choose this course was the balnced combination o core subjects ,programming languages ,laboratory sessions, and project work.The curriculam includes fundamental engineering subjects in the intital years
Internships Opportunities
At CMRCET internship opporthunties are available through college placement cell.The college encourages studnets to start internships from 2nd or 3rd year and many students secure internships during summer breaks. Stipends vary depending on the company the stadard average stipend is 15,000 per month .In few cases higly skilled students in product based may recieve slightly higher stipends. My overall rating would be 8/10 for internship expernice.The college grooms and preapres the students for real time working
Placement Experience
The placements in CMRCET are decent compared to other engineering colleges . students usually become eligibel for campus placements from the 6th semester and most companies start vistiing during the 7th semester.The college provides placement training from the 2nd year itself including aptitude,coding ,soft skills mock interviews and resume building workshops
Fees and Financial Aid
I am undertaking my Btech course in CMR College of Engineering and Technology Hyderabad.My batch under the Convenor (EAMCET) quota will be charged about 1,20,000 as the annual fee and hence the full term fee of the 4 year course will be about 4,60,000
Campus Life
My overall campus life experience at CMRCET has been engaging and balances between academocs and extracurricular activites.The college organizes annuaol culutural and techincal festivals which are usally conducted between February and april .These events include coding competitons,paper presentations , project expos cultural performances and sports events giving studenta a platform to showcase both technical and creative talents
Admission
I chose CMR College of Engineering and Technology over few other colleges I had applied to because it offerd a good balance of academics , infrastrucutre , placements,and affordabity.I had also appiled to colleges like CMR Technical Campus, Vardhaman College of Engieneering and Malla Reddy Engineering College. I received confimed admission offers from CMRCET and couple other collges but i chose CMRCET mainly because of its consistent placement record with companies
Faculty
The faculty to student ration in my department is approximately 1:15 to 1:2 which allows decent academic interaction .Most faculty members are approachabel and supportive , especially during lab sessions and project gudance .They are open to clarifying doubts
Night Life
The night life around CMRCET is relatively calm and student friendly rather than very happening like city center colleges.Since the campus is located in Medchal it has peaceful environment . College closes at 4:00 after regular classes. The library generally reminas open until 6:00 in the evening
