Likes
- The atmosphere of the college is very pleasant and very calm. We have all types of books in our college library including all computer languages. And ragginig is prohibited in our college. The infrastructure is good in our college . Everything is ok.
- The support coming from the teachers is exceptionally good. They all are giving all their support to the students regarding studies and other activities. All types of food are provided in the canteen. Digital learning is executed in all classes is ok
- There is a vast area for parking all the bikes and cars. And the nature in the college is also good. Digital learning is ensured in every class. The interaction with seniors is a also positive thing in the college it will help in exploring college.
Dislikes
- There is no other cultural activities in the college. They will always say to study and there no entertainment purposes in the college. And there is very much less time for playing games that is a major dislike i had about my college. It is bad.
- Some faculty of the college are biased. Like they will gives marks on seeing the faces. They will give full marks for the students whom they like and give less marks to the students to whom they don't like. It is very bad about the faculty. not all.
- The behavior of the watchman in the college is very bad. They will feel like it is their own college and they will stop us while we are going to somewhere in the leisure periods that is so rude from them. That is not good.
Placement scenario and packages being offered
The chance of getting placed in top companies in our college are very high. There is a separate faculty for training and placement. They will guide us to getting placed. They will mainly focus on teaching programming which is the key aspect to selected for placement and training. When coming to the packages the highest package in our college is 48 lakhs per annum and the average package a student can get is about to 6-7lakhs per annum. About 80% of the students can be get placed in the campus placements. For getting placed invthe placements we should follow the faculty guidelines.
Internship opportunities and real time projects
The chances of getting placed and internships inthe college are very high. For getting the placement we should follow the guidelines of the faculty in the college. In the final year of the college every one should do two - two projects each to get placed and to present them as their referred projects. By doing the real time the student will get experience about the projects and will understand about the current trend in the market. By doing real time projects they will get more experience. It will help them when they promoting to next level when they are doing the job after they get placed in the placements.
College events, various clubs and facilities available in campus
The biggest fest that will held in our college is pragnya. It will held every year. And in this fest there is lotbof enjoy there are games and dances and song performances . The atmosphere of the college during the fest is explosive and enthusiastic. And then after small events like flashmob will held in the college. When it comes to the books we have lot of books in the college libraby. The library consists all types of books including all computer languages. The library is also very large. Coming to sports the college will held kelostav sports meet in every year in the college.
Various fees associated in the course
The year wise fees that was paying by the students of gokarajurangaraju college students was about 1,34,000.The tution fees payed by the student is 1,34,000.The registration fees in gokarajurangaraju is about 5000 with reservation and without reservation the student should pay about 10,000.And there is no lab fees in our as we are fully free reimbursement. For management students they will about to 20,0000 to get the seat in griet college.In my bench there was 3 members and 2 of them are fully reimbursement and one are management.
Course structure and its industry relevance
In our college i choose computer science. I choose tthis course because i analyised all the current trend s and then after choose this course. L think the computer science course in the future will have high demand. As the computers will rule the upcoming generations. I think this course will have high demand in the market. And coming to improvements in the course is the lab timings should increase and the teachers should explain the concepts to the students in an understanding way. And sone faculty should change in the college.
Faculties , their bonds with students and examination pattern
And coming to the faculty to student ratio is they will approach for every 5 students. The approach of faculty to the students is very except some faculty. The best faculty for me in our college is for lafa. And the faculty name BRK sir. He teaches very well he will yeach the subject on current trend point of view but not in the exams point of view. He teaches very good.There are 2 mids for each semester. And there are lab internal exams including vivas. If we study perfect we can crack all the examinations without fail.
College rankings in respective course
Actually i had preferred some other colleges before this like jntuh and other top college. But i got seat in this college. This college is also good. I choose this college because it has good infrastructure when compared to other colleges. And it is one top 6 collegea in btech course. The teaching ways and techniques are pretty good as we compared to other colleges. And the chance of getting placed in top companies is very high in this college when compared to other colleges. Yes i had applied for jntuh college but i have didn't select because i had low score.
Night Life
We have college gym innour college which will open during 4-5 . Anyone can go and do exercise in the college gym. And coming to Cafeterias there is a college canteen in which all food items will provide with good taste but little expensive. And coming to hostel there is no campus hostel and the students who are studying in the college should stay in other outside hostels. As there is no campus hostels. The famous hangout places inside college is at ampi theatre which is a good place to hangout.

About GRIET
GRIET was established in 1997, under the patronage of the Gokaraju Rangaraju Educational Society, created by Dr. Gokaraju Ganga Raju, the chairman of griet. GRIET is located in a campus of eighteen acres in Bachupally village, close to the Hyderabad-Mumbai National Highway, and 4 km from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. The college is situated on a lush green hilly plot. The campus has two seminar halls, an open-air theater and an auditorium.
It has four main blocks:
- Shannon block, or Block 1, housing the School of Computing Technologies.
- Faraday Block, or Block 2, housing the School of Electrical Sciences
- Ramanujan Block, or the New Block, housing Administration
- Block 4 housing the School of Mechanical Engineering

Annual Day Celebrations are celebrated to mark the birthday of Dr. Gokaraju Rangaraju, in whose name the college came into existence. This coincides with the Republic Day of Independent India - 26 January. On this day, flag hoisting is done in the morning, followed by prize distribution to the students who performed well in their university exams and extracurricular activities. There are cultural events, song and dance sequences and plays. A dinner is arranged for all the students and guests. |

Spices gives an opportunity to the students to show their culinary skills. The competition is held annually and prizes are awarded to the winners, who are selected by a panel of judges. The annual quiz competition is conducted annually to test the general knowledge of the students. The students are selected after a written test. The competition is conducted as a part of Pragnya, where students from other colleges participate. |

I was hoping to get admission in top IIT's NIT's but I scored very less marks in exams. I wrote TG-EAPCET exam and secured a rank of 5367 in all over Telangana,so on that behailf I got seat in top 5 EAPCET colleges in telangana in CSE.My admission process in our college is to fill the counsilling form and fill the choices of the colleges which I am supposed to get addmision to it.
