Scholarship has been given by the ts government for fee reimbursement for the students as well as separate 5000 and nsp well given the 10k to merit students.
The faculty with good knowledge helps us to improve in our education
Placements are good in campus, well infrastructure and good modies nature in campus, and course are cse, ce, mech, eee, it, ds, aiml, etc

Dislikes

Dislike the faculty of core department.they fail to provide the more information about subject
We have no hostels around the college as we have to travel
The mobile signal is dead in the campus, which is quite frustrating

Likes

College campus and environment is good. There are many clubs for the social interactions and student improvement.
Staff and mentors guide students and help them to improve in their academics and other sectors in which they are interested in and help in their personal and professional developement.
Placement training is excellent. Training starts in the 2nd year itself. Staff and mentors help to get internships,placements with better packages.

Dislikes

Few staff will not teach properly that students could not understand about the subject.
College lunch timings are not sufficient and too early for the 2nd years.
Sports period and student's involvement in sports is not there from 2nd year.

Placement Experience:

Placements are too good in my college. From 3rd year 5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements and placement training starts from 2nd year 3rd semester. Companies like IBM, Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan's Chase, provide placement offers. The highest package is 54LPA and average package is 12-13 LPA. 95% of the students will be placed in the placements. My ultimate goal is to become full tie software developer after getting my degree.

Likes

College campus and environment is good. There are many clubs which helps us for social interaction and working in teams.
This college provides staff and mentors who help us in our academics and guide to learn things in the interested sector. .
Traning for the placements is given from second year only and which helps us learning skills in a better way.

Dislikes

Few staff teach in a way that students cannot understand.
This college's lunch timings are too early and insufficient.
There is no time given for sports for the second year students.

Placement Experience:

There are best placements in our college. Many developed hire skilled students from our college. From second semester of second year itself students are eligible for campus placements through some internships which later converted to full time jobs. Companies like Microsoft, Oracle, JP Morgan, IBM, Google and like 2-3 offers from each company are made every year. Highest package in the recent year of our college is 52 LPA from Oracle company and the average packages like 12-13 LPA. Mostly all the student will be placed within thecampus itself.

Atleast 2-3 faculties every semester i had who were amazing.
Placements numbers are increasing and best thing all are placed in Hyderabad only.
Beautiful campus with wonderful garden to refresh your mind by having a walk around

Dislikes

If one missed attendance even by a couple of percentage he/she has to pay a heavy fine.

Amazon, Google, Microsoft and likewise there are nearly 700 IT companies in Hyderabad and most of them are favouring students from GRIET. On and average IT students are placed at 6 lakhs or around while CSE students get 10 lakhs or so on and average.

A best college to regret in Telangana.

Likes

College infrastructure is very good.Campus is also excellent
Faculty is very good. Professors were also very friendly and they help a lot

GRIET: a good place to learn and grow

Likes

the college is full of trees which is so pleasant
the teaching staff is soo good and they are the faculty members are experienced
the infrastructure is good and has good facilities

Dislikes

in canteen we cant sit together as a boys and girls
the security gaurds are so strict when we use mobile phones
strict rules to be followed in dress code

In our college placements starts from 6th semester. Many comapanies vist, offering good jobs. The highest package is around 400000L and the average package is 300000L. About 80-90% get placed. My plans after getting the degree include higher studies

My days in college

Likes

I liked the infrastructure and its maintenance
Few of our college staff are super chill
We have a nice canteen and a variety of options available

Dislikes

Most of the faculty were strict and stuck to their ways unlike the few chill ones
You are not allowed to freely use smartphones
We have a big ground and a sports rep but we don’t have a proper team for each sport

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There were more placements for branches like Cse and IT with highest starting package of 30 lakhs and average being 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs and the percentage of students getting placed is around 65% for the whole college. My plan is to assist my dads business after graduation

The thing i liked in this college is that it has a very large campus
It has all the facilities like advanced labs with well equipped softwares
The faculty here are experienced a lot and have a lot of knowledge

Dislikes

The security is so strict that we have to keep our cellphones in our bag even in canteen
Sometimes becoz of security it feels like we are in a boys campus or girls campus
Less boy and girl interaction becoz of rules

Curriculum is good here When it comes to 3rd yr we do the core subjects like machine learning These are very developing subjects which are also taught by the faculty who has more experience There could be more practical skills in subject as an improvement Exams are regularly conducted

I like this College atmosphere and better' enviornment
And better communication with every one and friendly relationship

Dislikes

There are no proper class rooms in the college
And not even proper lectures and properly people
Not even having food canteen and not even proper mess

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good as per my thinking as the average packages are 8 lakhs per annum actually it's a good one and it goes upto 44 lakhs and yess all the people are being selected for the interviews

Good clg for placement

The placements that clg provides us and the faculty are highly professional in teaching .the clg is build in nature with birds and animals .the clg tmgs are from 10-2 it is very reasonable for students .moreover the clg conducts fun activities.also c

Watchmen I don't like them most of the time they keep shouting on students it should be changed and in college

There will be 98.9 % placements provided according to the management they'll divide the people into three batches . And they provide placement opportunities accordingly wrt their batches. If I would not get the placement I'll go with my projects which I have already done and trying to do them so I'll get opportunity outside too .

GRIET Hyderabad has been ranked 172 in the Engineering category in NIRF by MHRD. College regularly organises FDP for the students of different departments to provide them with better knowledge. GRIET also provides consultancy to the Government and industries through R & D centres. The faculties are highly educated with good academic backgrounds.

Courses:

GRIET offers B.Tech in degree Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Civil Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), computer science & Business system and CSE.
M.Tech degree is offered in design for manufacturing, power electronics, VLSI, Computer science & engineering, structural engineering and data science.

Admissions:

70% of the seats in B.Tech are allotted on merit basis while remaining seats are allotted to the management/NRI candidates.
Admission is given to any Engineering college in Andhra Pradesh through a common entrance test (EAMCET). Tuition fees for 1 year of B.Tech programme are 1.22 lakhs.
For admission in M.Tech programmes, candidates must have a B.E. or B.Tech degree with minimum 55% aggregate and a valid score of GATE or PGECET.
Total tuition fees for the M.Tech programme is 1.14 lakh.

Infrastructure:

GRIET campus comprises a huge library, laboratories, water plant, solar water plant, canteen, classrooms and sports area. Computer labs are equipped with highly advanced software.

Placements:

The previous year, a total of 834 students from all the departments got placement from the college.
More than 100 students were placed with CTC above 6 lakh.
Famous companies which recruited the students of GRIET were Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, CISCO, Byju’s and many more. Highest salary package received by the students of GRIET was 41.6 lakh.

Many events are organised at the college like Spirals, Spices, X-Kernel, Quizzicals, Rhythms, Pragnya, PULSE, etc. GRIET has organised Hackathon Competition in association with Technology & innovation cell to inculcate the values of innovations and to promote technological advances. There are also various clubs that students can take part in like Gaming Club, and Robotic club.
