About VCE
Vasavi College of Engineering popularly known as VCE Hyderabad is an autonomous self-financed institute established in 1981. The institute is affiliated with Osmania University and is approved by AICTE. Further, VCE is accredited by NAAC with “A++ “Grade and NBA. VCE offers a 4-year Undergraduate Programme in Engineering Education (B.E) and a 2-year Postgraduate Programme in Engineering Education (M.E). Further, it also offers MCA. VCE Admission 2024
At Vasavi College of Engineering, there is an “Admission Committee” that regulates the admission enrolments for the UG & PG level courses. The following are the admission criteria for the courses:
- BE Admission: 70% of the seats of B.E. are allotted based on the candidate’s rank on TS-EAMCET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled by the management quota. Admission to B.E. (Lateral) is based on the candidate’s scores on TS-ECET.
- B.E (Hons) Admission: Admission to BE (Hons) is based on merit in BE program.
- ME Admission: 70% of the seats of M.E. are allotted based on the candidate’s scores on GATE/PGECET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled based on merit
- MCA Admission: For the MCA applications, a candidate must clear the TS-ICET Exam along with having a Bachelor's Degree. 70% of the seats of MCA are filled based on the candidate’s rank on TS-ICET. The remaining 30% of seats are fulfilled by Management

I chose this college for its excellent faculty, modern infrastructure, and strong placement record. Unlike other colleges I applied to, it offers hands-on learning and better industry exposure. The admission process, including an entrance exam and interview, was smooth and fair.

The other colleges i applied are CBIT, VNR I haven't waited for the confirmation from other colleges as I was particularly decided to join this college. As i mentioned before I was interested in persuing mechanical engineering so I only opted for the mechanical course directly in the colleges vasavi, VNR, CBIT, Gokaraju rangaraju. I chose to go to this college in particular because, a know professor who is working in Vasavi college suggested me to join this college as it is a good choice for mechanical engineering.

This college is managed by OC. Management and shows no caste politics or partiality. I got a rank of 800 in COMEDK so would have got CSE and IT at RVCE and got 5700 rank in viteee so could have got computer science or ECE atleast I also applied to lnmiit and got approval. I also applied to shastra SRM and gitam in which I got offers but my parents wanted me to stay in Hyderabad my hometown and wanted a decent college so I chose this. My college has three ways to get into. One is through state entrance eamcet Other is called b category which cuts off chance to reimbursement,which is joining based on jeemains rank and is called B category Next is nri and sports quota which is hardly 5% of total seats.

First I take admission in Hyderabad Vasavi college of engineering then I left from there because their language I didn't understand while teachers was teache,then I applied for this college and then I take admission in this college.No i didn't got rejection from others college.The admission process in my college is simply come in college and fill the form and directly take the admission.

I tried for taking admission in nalsar I wrote clat I couldn't get the seat and I tried for icfai but I even didn't get it in that college as well I was not interested in apex law college then I wrote lawcet and got myself in Pendekanti it is a good college approved by bar council of India. The process for admission is same like we need to write lawcet exam then wait for results cut off for oc is 300 to 400 then when the counselling starts we can apply in that and choose aur favourite college wait for the results of Osmania university

The college has good rating and proper curriculum and it is well-known college in our area .and people says it has the good placements and the faculty are so experienced.the only college I applied after my Intermediate was this and I got selected In this college .I have applied to B-category and they called me for the admission and verified all my marks and percentile and according to my percentile I have got seat in electrical and electronic engineering.which I was expecting to .

I tried in Cbit but I could not get admission due to my cut off.Later I got admitted into vasavi through b category.You can get in this college through Eamcet(Telangana eamcet).The cut off rank will be 1000-3000 (changes through year)

Does Vasavi College of Engineering give OU degrees?
Earlier Vasavi college of Engineering was not regarded as a university. Only the ones that are considered as a university could offer their own degrees. Vasavi was an OU-affiliated college and did offer an OU degree.
Since the year 2015, it became an autonomous/self-independent college and has stopped offering OU degrees. Colleges such as AFAIK, CBIT developed as an autonomous college before Vasavi and offers an OU degree.
