honest review of my college

Faculty:

the faculty to student ratio is good.most teacehrs are good . some will be strict in classes .they are friendly and are approachable. divya mam.she is my fav facultie in this colleage . i like they was she teach. she teaches programming lang.she teaches in very practially and she gives lot of logical questions which imporoves our knowledge. no such teaches that i hate.in our 2nd sem our chem teacher is bit strict. so i feel irrateded in her classes. theyy are 2 mid exam, 2 lab internals , 1 lab external and sem end exam for an entire sem. they are not that hard.we can score if we have an knowledge in that subject. 90% -95% will clear there exams.

Vasavi College of Engineering - Pros and Cons

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is 1:20 and all the teachers ensure good relation with students apart from one faculty of physics he acts rude all the time. I liked Sudhakar sir from maths and haseeba mam from python but i disliked venkateshwar rao from physics because he thinks he knows everything but he doesn't know how ro explain and internal marks are of 30 in which 6 x 1mark 4x3marks and 2x6 marks questions in internal and lab record of 18 and internal of 12 marks total 30 marks

Faculty:

When it comes to faculty-student ratio it is definitely around 1:64 or 1:65. Few faculty are good, like they teach slow and tell students to ask doubts. Few faculty are approachable as they are young, but students obviously fear a bit to approach old and experienced faculty. My favourite faculty is meena mam. I used to find it hard to talk on stage. But meena mam improved that quality in me by picking me up on stage for some number of times. There is no faculty like i did not like but Srinivas sir is strict and students find it hard to approach him. For every sem 2 mid exams, 1 lab internals, sem end exam and 1 lab externals will be there. Toughness is medium for all of them.

The faculty of Vasavi college of engineering are very talented and have years of experience teaching. All the professors are good but one of the student favorites of this college is Sashi Kumar Mamidanna (CSE). I have a friend from Vasavi and he speaks very highly of Prof. Sashi Kumar Mamidanna.

He explains all the concepts and subjects in an interesting way and is great at delivering lectures. If you tell him about any of your interests or a project idea, he really helps you with the topic. He always guides the students in their academics and always has the student's backs to direct them in the appropriate way.

When a student comes up with an idea especially related to computer science, he always listens to them patiently and also provides them with the necessary resources that could be important to complete the project.

None of the faculty can be characterized as the best and worst. Teaching as a profession is not taken up by professors who would go down the lane to be known as the worst faculty.

However, there might be some faculty members who would inspire you, who would push you to venture into new fields of skills, some might even bore you with their lectures and you might even come across some strict ones. It is all just the pressure of standing on the podium to impart knowledge to the students on a large scale.

Moreover, college is to learn new skills and make use of the available facilities and experiences provided by the faculty as per one’s requirements.

Vasavi College of Engineering has some of the best faculty. They are highly educated and experienced. Ramana Murthy Sir (Mech HOD/ Principal), AV Rao Sir, Ram Mohan Rao Sir, Veladri Sir, Venkataiah Sir, Sudhakar Sir are a few names of the members of a tremendous faculty.
