VCE Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

30% of the seats under "Category B" are filled by the Management based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad will release a notification in their official website for spot admission under B-Category for the vacant seats. You need to apply online on the college website and provide your rank details and branch preferences and you will be called for spot admission.

The requirement for admission to the B.E program is to appear for the Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test, referred to as EAMCET, which is conducted every year. The candidates are also required to pass the examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by Osmania University as equivalent. Admission to the 2nd year B.E course is done through ECET. 70% of the seats under "Category A" are filled by the Convener of EAMCET based on the rank secured in EAMCET and as per the rules of reservation in force. 30% of the seats under "Category B" are filled by the Management based on the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh from time to time

There is no provision for admission under NRI/NRI Sponsored seats. All the 30% seats under Category-B will be filled on merit basis as per the relevant rules of the Government of Telangana and the guidelines issued by the Competent Authority as follows.

1. The seats shall be filled on merit basis with candidates including from other States and Union territories, who have secured rank at JEE-(Mains) 2023 and secured not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the qualifying examination (Intermediate/CBSE/ICSE).
2. The seats remaining unfilled from (1) above shall be filled with eligible candidates, who have qualified in the TSEAMCET-2023 examination on merit basis and secured not lessthan 45% marks in the prescribed group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry).
3. Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45%  of marks in the prescribed group subjects taken together/aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations, as prescribed.
