Likes

I like to have the good lectures for some subjects
The canteen prices are very low compared to other colleges
The college has many placement options compared to other colleges

Dislikes

The college is too small and didn't have large ground
The ratio of boys to girls is 3:1 i.e very less members
Some of the faculty members are really very angry unnecessarily

Admission:

I didn't get the seat in Chaitanya Bharathi College of Engineering Hyderabad because my rank is not upto the cutoff rank. So I have to choose this college and this is my second option. This college have good placements compared to other colleges.

my journey at vasavi college of engineering: learning, growth, and career readiness

Likes

i liked the way of lecturers communicating with the students
the college infrastructure is very good and correct
they will take care of placement and internships for students

Dislikes

the campus area is not much larger it is just 13 acres
there is no hostel in our campus and it is a main disadvantage for non- local students
the gender ratio is very poor of females the majority ratio of males are more

Admission:

i chose this college over the other colleges i applied to mainly because of its strong academic reputation, consistent placement record, experienced faculty and autonomous status. compared to many other ts eamcet colleges vasavi stands out in terms of quality of teaching.

Vasavi College of Engineering - Pros and Cons

Likes

I liked the placements in my information technology branch
All the faculty are good except few lag expression
Maximum hods teach the subject so its clear ans short but important

Dislikes

Its like a school there is lot of rules etc
There is more pressure in the intial state
Due to records and assignments and 3 exams in just 5 months it becomes difficult

Admission:

Compared to other colleges the placements in information technology branch is highest in this college and apart from all other colleges this college doesn't offer any management seats and selects students from merit and the intake of students every year is very less like 700-800 per year but in other colleges its like 2000-3000 per year and all my cousins have studied in the same college

Vasavi college of engineering

Likes

The maintenance of college was too good.
The faculty has good experience and great knowledge on subject
The sports area is big and you can have chances to play with other colleges

Dislikes

Some faculties with less knowledge but more attitude
Compensating the holidays and conducting colleges on 2nd Saturday

Admission:

I chose this college because this was having good faculties and better maintenance of students than the other colleges and there are many other colleges better than this but I chose this because my rank can only afford this

VCE: Talent meets Opportunity

Likes

I liked the canteen food. Most of it is hygience only.
Faculty are very friendly. They encourage a lot.
Library decorum is also maintained. We can study peacefully.

Dislikes

Fests are very less when compared to other colleges.
Sports hours are sometimes taken by faculty.
Few faculty teaches very fast. Average students like me lose interest.

Admission:

I applied in almost 20 colleges. But the top colleges were JNTUH, CBIT, VNR VJIET, and Vasavi College of Engineering. My rank is a bit less so I did not get seat in those 3 colleges. Luckily I got seat in Vasavi College so I'm happy. Admission process is of 2 kinds. One was through EAPCET exam. And, the other through JEE MAINS exam. Students who got above 92%ile were eligible and got seats in different branches. For EAPCET through cutoffs vary through different branches. Admission experience was not hectic. Everything went with the flow.

My honest review

Likes

The campus is filled with a lottt of trees. The atmosphere is very good there. It feels so calm.
The amount of books they have in library is crazyy. They have a vast collection of books. They have fictional books,self help books, books for GATE preparation and a lot more which add up to around 1Lac+ books
The vibe, every senior is friendly, I have talked to a lot of seniors and none of us have not ragged us. Seniors do guide us in terms of giving tips for hackathons,scoring marks, explaining stuff etc

Dislikes

The campus is small. Wish it was bigger. It is good but yeah
The college hours. We only get 40 mins of lunch break which isn't enough for me.
The canteen menu. Although almost everything tastes good but there's a limited menu. There aren't a lot of options

My aim was to get into a NIT. But i couldn't since my jee score was too low. I did apply to vnr,cbit,mgit but got rejected everywhere except for mgit. I got BE Information Technology in mgit. I had a small chance of getting into vasavi through spot admission. I chose vasavi because it's one of the best colleges in the state and its near to my house too. I got rejected from vnr and cbit because my jee rank was too less. The admission process of my college is. U have to secure a good rank in EAMCET. I would say a good rank is from 1k to 15k. Or get around 100k rank in jee mains to be able to secure a seat. Most of the students prefer Information Technology branch since this is the branch which has been bagging very good packages in the last few years.

I like the faculty who are well experienced
I like the campus which is surrounded by greenery
I like the well maintained classrooms and labs

Dislikes

I expected a lot from the college but it's not that as much i experienced
The college doesn't have a campus which is a problem
The journey is hard the roads are not good

I applied for various colleges and josaa counciling in which I got the chance at IIIT kotayam and IIIT tiruchirapalli I choose Vasavi because the placements were the same and my cousin studies here so it was a better option than kerala the admission is through EAMCET examination the cutoff is nearly a 2k the admission experience was pretty good

I like the placements in it and CSE branches our college is reputed for these branch placements and as of ece branch the placements percentage is around 68 percent and labs and all are well equipped our college also encourages sports but not that muc
I like the genuinity maintained in my college where they do not encourages any donations admissions are purely based on the examinations score such as jee emacet and ipe
It is a good college it has a bus facility all over from. The city

Dislikes

I dislike the encouragement of extracurricular activities in my college which is not at all there
Faculty is strict in correction they don't encourage students when participating in Events
Mostly the senior junior interaction is not that much which i strongly disagree because it is necessary for the students to get the know the things

I applied for mgit cbit and vnr i got admission from mostly all the colleges Mgit I got CSbs which I got after the admission in this college so I couldn't able to join in this Cbit I got eee but I don't like the branch eee Same to vnr Admission process is i joined through my jee crl I attended the spot rounds and constantly checking the college websites for updates as of the last year admission ranks /eligibility bcat ranks I knew from start I can get ece branch here so I tried for IT branch but atlast i can't able to get it and stuck with ece

As per the previous year's cutoff analysis of the TS EAMCET at the Vasavi College of Engineering Hyderabad, you may get a seat for the Btech course with the 3457 - 28778 rank in the general category. The candidates are also required to pass the examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or any other examination recognized by Osmania University as equivalent. Admission to the 2nd year B.E course is done through ECET.
