MGIT Scholarship 2024
Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology (MGIT) offers several scholarships to students based on their academic performance and financial needs. These scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and they may cover a portion or all of the tuition fees.
Some of the scholarships offered by the college include

Candidates who successfully qualified for TS PGECET and secured a rank between 1 to 500 at MGIT will receive a monthly scholarship of INR 5,000 or INR 60,000 per annum. MGIT has a vibrant, secure and safe campus sprawling over 30 acres of pleasant landscape with a constructed area of 2,50,787 sq ft. MGIT provides a wide range of facilities to its students. Some of these are listed below:
- Library: MGIT Library is well-equipped and well-facilitated with 53,852 volumes & 12,734 titles,658 e-journals, 176 Indian technical journals and 25 general magazines for the benefit of the students and staff. An average of 450 students and staff visit the library every day. Major publishers like Oxford Press, Cambridge University Press, PHI, Prentice Hall, New Age, Asian, Higginbotham’s, etc. conduct exhibitions every year at the campus.
- Sports: The inistute facilitates indoor & outdoor sports activities for students. The indoor facilities include Table Tennis, Carom & Chess whereas outdoor facilities include Football, Cricket, Basketball (Synthetic Acrylic surface), Volleyball Courts and Throw ball (for Girls). There are many sporting events held at MGIT. These are EKALAVYA – Intercollegiate Sports Fest and NIRVANA Spots Festi.

I have chosen Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology as it was offering everything I was looking for. The admission process in my college too is quite simple.

- I liked the infrastructure and atmosphere of the college. Its so pleasant and greenery far from the city, no pollution surrounding by lake, trees. So its nice to have that beautiful atmosphere where we can have a good feeling.
- Faculty is really experienced and thy teach very well. Highly qualified professors where thy are very much skilled as well as good with the students. Thy always try to help students in a better way.
Dislikes
- More of theoritical stuff than practical ones.
- Placements are less compared to other colleges

I applied to cbit and vasavi. I got placed in cbit chemical engineering, vasavi i got rejected. But as i m lookinh for eee, i got in mgit so i have to choose mgit where my i desire course i got. I got rejected from vasavi, i don't the reason may be the admission in my branch is filled when i applied. Admission process is simple, clear the eamcet and get good rank place in it. Its a good experience.

Both MGIT and CBIT are recognised and prestigious institutes in Hyderabad. However, in some cases, CBIT exceeds MGIT Hyderabad:
To be eligible for admission to UG courses, you need to have passed 12th with minimum aggregate marks in PCM from a recognized board to get selected. And, then you need to apply for TS EAMCET/ECET exam followed by counselling to get selected.
Candidates with family annual income less than 1 lakh and securing a rank below 10,000 in TS EAMCET are eligible to get free seat in bsc or bds at MGIT.
