- CMRCET Admissions to all its courses are based on entrance tests conducted by the government of Telengana.
- 70% of the seats in BTech and MBA are done by the counselor through EAMCET and ICET ranks respectively.
- The rest 30% of seats in BTech are management quota seats. To qualify for the same, a student should either have obtained a rank or should have secured a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
- 30% of seats in MBA are also reserved under Management Quota / NRI Quota.
- Candidates must note that no reservation based or any other concession will be given under Management Quota.
- CMR College of Engineering and Technology Admission for M.Tech is based on GATE scores.
- 2 seats in each M.Tech specialization are for sponsored candidates.
- The sponsored candidate must be a permanent employee with the sponsoring agency for at least (2) years, after obtaining the qualifying degree.
- The sponsoring agency must be a Government establishment or a public-sector undertaking, or a reputed private undertaking and should certify that the candidates will be granted leave for pursuing the M.Tech full-time course.

By way of scholarships and awards, CMRCET recognizes, appreciates and encourages the meritorious students towards excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities. A scholarship named Cybage Khushboo Scholarship is available for the students at CMRCET. The scholarship amount ranges between INR 50,000 per annum to INR 90,000 per annum.
Additionally, Special Cash Prizes are awarded to the students securing ranks and prizes in Paper Presentation in Symposia / Conference, Quiz etc. Cash Prizes, Certificate of Appreciation and medals are awarded to the students securing first, second and third rank every year in their respective examinations.
The following awards are given to students on the eve of Annual Day every year. Cash prize for meritorious students in the respective of Every Branch/Course is also distributed. Given below are the cash prizes given to meritorious students:

Hostel: The College has separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls located in the college premises, which are available at an affordable cost of Rs. 69,000/- per annum (Girls) and 72000/- per annum (Boys). Full time resident wardens are available at CMR College of Engineering & Technology Hostels to take care of hostellers and to maintain discipline. A standby power generator is also available with full time attendant to operate during power failures.
- Library: The college library has largest collection of Books, Journals, Magazines, Project reports, Tutorials, video lessons and E-Book Consortium in all allied subjects for both academics and research with numerous subject for professional and special purpose to coordinate resource sharing and maximize the efficacy of our expenditures and our expertise. There are currently over 75,000 volumes,10,000 Titles and 153 journals both National and International available in paper and electronically, as well as numerous e-books. Library also provides borrowing privileges to students and staff for off campus access. The library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on working days and from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on Sundays. The Second Floor of the library has Circulation Counter, New Arrivals, Stack Area, Reading Area, Digital Library Newspaper Section & Reprography Section and the Reference Section & Periodicals Section.
- Canteen: CMRCET, Hyderabad has a canteen which provides a wide variety of hygienic break-fast, lunch and eateries and snacks. The College canteen provides delicious and hygienic South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices. Adequate measures have been taken to provide safe drinking water to the students, keeping their health in mind.
- Medical Facilities: CMRCET, Hyderabad has a medical room available in the campus during the working hours with all the requisite facilities and emergency medicine which is headed by the expert professionals. A full time medical officer assisted by a trained nurse and Ambulance facility is also available at the medical centre. The college also has a tie-up with Malla Reddy Hospitals for availing their facilities at concessional rates.
- Sports: Football, Hockey, Cricket grounds, Basketball, Tennis and Volleyball courts are well maintained by the Department of Physical Education at CMRCET. Outdoor and indoor recreation facilities are available both during and after the college hours in the sports complex building. The college’s sports council also conducts annual sport events and also organizes Inter-collegiate tournaments.
- ATM: The college provides round the clock ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) facility for both the students and staff members so that they can do withdraw money at any point of time without hassles. It is located at a point where it is easily accessible to every individual in order to cater to the needs of their monetary transactions.
- Post Office: An excellent postal service is provided in the college for the postal correspondence and the transit is well taken care of by the concerned persons. In addition, the parents are informed about their ward’s performance in the examinations and their attendance in the form of monthly progress reports, which is sent at regular intervals through the available post office.
- Stationary: CMRCET has a well stocked stationary point where materials like drawing sheets, drafters, aprons, lab records, writing materials etc., with photocopying facility are available.
- Water Facility: A Reverse Osmosis Process-based mineral water plant is established in the college which can supply 600 Liters / Hr of pure and safe drinking water.
- Waiting Hall: A well furnished lounge having a conductive atmosphere for the girls to rest and relax when required is available at the campus. Some of the senior women faculty counsel the students, according to necessity.
- Auditorium: CMR Central Auditorium has a well equipped Air-Conditioned Seminar hall in every department and it is aesthetically designed to conduct all the important workshops and seminars. The seminar halls are facilitated with the latest technology and are well equipped with Multimedia projectors and Audio Video amenities. Each hall can accommodate up to 2000 people and interactive sessions for the students are taken up from time to time by the faculty / industry experts.

- The collage infrastructure is good and it is better than some pf the collages i heard
- The life in the campus good but i have only problem about the attendance

- I do not like the faculty because they are showing partiality and they are not having. proper qualifications
- I dont like that the collage is mainly showing prefernce about studies amd they are not giving us a sports period

I entered in collage by the eamcet counsling process and amd the main reason for choosing this collage is it is in top 15 and i prepared for eamcet at my home and i got a good rank in it i have also applied for top 10 collage also

- Sports facilities are moderate there are many games to play . management conducts the compilations for inter branch and inter class.
- Lectures are not at high level. This semester before completion of syllabus we are writing the sem exams.
Dislikes
- The campus is too srtict we have to maintain the attendance above seventy five percent to escape the condonation fee of three thousand.
- The campus is not big enough. The fests and functions are not arranged well. Very poor at the conducting the fests annd events.
Admission:
I got the admission in this college by the TS ecet entrance examination where I choose this college in alternate to other because it is the best college for my rank of 26000 and The scholars don't have much of the facilities. I choose other colleges like a gograju rangaraju CBIT and Guru Nanak College of institutions Osmania Osmania University College but for my rank in the upset record this college as a best option. I didn't apply to other colleges I wrote the JEE mains and advanced examination but I got the admission in the NIT Lucknow campus because it is a far away from my native place I didn't choose to go instead I after to take admission in this college of CMR set with the score I got in the state level engineering entrance examination. The 75% of seats are filled through the upset counselling which is the state level engineering colleges entrance examination and the remaining 25 percentage sit sir considered as NRI quota which field through the college management with some donation fee of about 11 to 9 lakh which depends upon the course you want to take in the college the merit you had in the intermediate and school on matter for taking admission into this college if you have money then you can. I don't recommend in taking admission in this college with a FTP of 11 lakhs instead take a drop and write the entrance another time.

As per other colleges it is not so good as mot expexted not upto mark but it is ok but it is better nit studying in the college due to some reasons which are mentioned before as these are the pros and cons

I choosen this college because I am eligible for this college and also course.And this is my first option to get the college. I like it because of the placements, infrastructure and also the study and I also like campus life.

I have applied for the top 10 colleges of Hyderabad which everyone do and I got into this college by counseling. Basically our college is same as other colleges in Hyderabad both contain same curriculum and activities but there is a plenty of freedom in other colleges that is lacking in our college where there are always the society called rules and restriction for everything. I've got less rank so I got into this college and EAMCET is cuttoff is 31k for csm for cse it would be 25k or something.

- No ragging in college. If any ragging seen in college are punished
- Good faculty and the staff Memeber are tooo good
Dislikes
- The bus fees at any distance or kilometre is 45 k
- No proper holiday will be given to us in college

I have appiled only two of the colleges that is KL university and SRU.. I have got in SRU.. After writing our board entrance i have got CMR college of engineering and technology.. I have thought that CMR is best compare to SRU , according to placements and internship

Before I joined in BTech college i wrote entrance exam and I got seat in this college before this i did not applied for any colleges and for our college there is no seperate entrance exam for our college.and the admission process is as simple as other colleges.
Likes
- The Infrastructure is top notch and very classy
- The Faculty Are Highly professional and understandabe
Dislikes
- The arrangement in laboratories and broken apparatus
- No proper maintanence in washrooms and sanitary areas
Admission:
I chose this college out of many others because of its features like Standard Education,Advanced laboratories,Full Training Support System and Better Packages.If u want to join collrge you can purchase management seat or join by writing EAMCET examination
Likes
- The first thing I like in our college is cafeteria it is such a nice place
- Our faculty is friendly and we get more knowledge from faculty.
Dislikes
- The first thing I dislike is security the management should improve the security of college.
- The curriculum also should get improve for students to help in future purposes.
Admission:
I choose CMR college of engineering and technology because if we compare with other colleges it gives all courses and good placements also placement training. I didn't get rejection from other colleges and for our college there is no entrance exams for admission.

I choose this college according to the my mcet rank firstly i prefer the government colleges but for my rank its not possible to get the government college but i accept that this college also very good

For admission to full time MBA program at CMRCET Hyderabad, you need to apply for TSICET exam, and for that you need to register at their official website. You need to have graduated with 45% to be eligible for MBA.
