Course Curriculum Overview
The course and its purpose was on point atleast that's my view. I can use whatever I learnt from my days in college now and it sure comes in handy from all the practical teaching. They could improve on the syllabus teaching and in class lecturing. The frequency and timing of the exams was perfect neither good nor bad
Placement Experience
From the beginning of the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There were more placements for branches like Cse and IT with highest starting package of 30 lakhs and average being 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs and the percentage of students getting placed is around 65% for the whole college. My plan is to assist my dads business after graduation
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid one lakh as fees, I don't remember lab fees and all they are all small amounts or none at all.my friend has a scholarship and his fees is around sixty thousand. He got that as he got a low rank in the emcet exams that were conducted through out the state
Campus Life
I had a wholesome college experience, there are fests hosted on campus every alternate year and small events every now and then and there were many clubs which provided different activities for students who were interested. I was in at least four clubs as far as I can remember, I was in two study related clubs, was also in a music club as I play the piano and was in the football club as a midfielder. As I said the sports club especially the football club were something we begged to get it together and we did and we had an amazing time.
Admission
I didn't apply for many colleges as such I just applied for the two I already mentioned, I did write an entrance exam for Amrita vidyalayam, Coimbatore but for this college I was aiming for a different course I.e aerospace engineering but I didn't meet the cutoff for a non local student. Our college had an walk in and would offer scholarships over emcet scores
Faculty
There are special facilities for every branch and they are specialised in that course. We have a well maintained facility for every branch comparing to students the ratio of teachers is 1:6 taking into consideration that a branch has 120 students
Night Life
There are few restaurants and hostels around the college nothing too flashy. But a few kilometres drive down the road you'll find anything you can want to eat, or any activity you would like to try you'll find everything and anything but yeah it's obviously not cheap and it's totally safe to roam around at night in these areas.
