St. Martin’s Engineering College Placement Report 2025 has been released. A total of 1182 students were placed in 2025. SMEC Hyderabad highest package offered was INR 60 LPA, while the lowest package offered was INR 3 LPA. Ans. According to students and alumni, this is one of the best colleges to study in. The principal of the college is very dedicated towards students. The placement rate is around 90%. Every year the college is improving. If you see its history since 2013, you can see its improvement in every aspect.
Ques. As per students, how is life at SMEC Hyderabad?
Ans. As per student reviews, SMEC Hyderabad are required to have attendance above 75% and the staff ensures that only those who pay bribes can get through this threshold. The student was fined INR 10,000 because they failed in an internal exam. Note, that this is cash payment without receipt. Every year, students are required to pay INR 12,500 in cash to buy books which they claim is optional but if you don't buy the books from them, you can't attend labs. As a result, you fail. They have fake internships where students are asked to pay money to be part of the internship. This amount is not high but it is INR 1.5-2K per student in cash. Students need to pay INR 15,000 fees for Campus Recruitment Training. This is a below-average programme where people who couldn't get placed will teach you how to get placed. If you choose not to pay, you can't sit in placements. The staff keeps harassing students who have paid INR 10 Lakh fees for 4 years, half of which is through under the table.
