31 Dec, 2025 TS EAPCET 2026 Exam date has been released for BE/ B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ Pharm.D admission. The exams are scheduled to be held on May 4 & 5, 2026 for Agriculture & Pharmacy and May 9 to 11, 2026 for Engineering stream, respectively.

St. Martin’s Engineering College (SMEC), Telangana was established in 2002 by St. Martin’s Children’s Education Society. It is affiliated with the JNTUH and approved by AICTE. It is also accredited by the NBA and graded ‘A+’ by NAAC. SMEC Hyderabad Ranking 2024 stood at 170 for Engineering, by India Today.

SMEC Hyderabad offers BTech as its flagship course. To be eligible for admission, candidates must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The final selection will be based on the AP EAPCET exam scores. The total course fee for BTech is INR 6.2 lakhs.

SMEC Hyderabad Admissions 2025

For AY 2025-2026, SMEC Hyderabad offers BTech in 6 specialisations. SMEC Hyderabad Admissions are granted based on entrance scores. Candidates may apply by following the steps given below.

The candidate applying through competitive exams needs to have a valid score of the AP EAPCET for the respective course and should apply online.
For Direct entry or Management quota, applicants are required to submit applications offline. Through the official website of St. Martin’s Engineering College, the candidate needs to complete and submit the application form.
The candidate then needs to pay the registration fee of INR 2,000 through the online mode of payment and save the receipt for future proceedings.
The fee must be paid in cash at the college or by Demand Draft

SMEC Hyderabad Placements 2025

St. Martin’s Engineering College Placement Report 2025 has been released. A total of 1182 students were placed in 2025. SMEC Hyderabad highest package offered was INR 60 LPA, while the lowest package offered was INR 3 LPA. The top recruiters during the SMEC Placement drive 2025 were Microsoft, Flipkart, Wipro, Amazon, and Rinex.

“College Ninja”, a BTech AI & DS student claims that almost 80% of the students in the college are getting placed. Internships will be given from the second semester itself. The highest package till now is 60 lakhs per annum. The placement drive starts right after the 7th semester ends.

SMEC Hyderabad Campus & Facilities 2025

Spread across an area of 17 acres, SMEC Hyderabad is home to some of the best facilities on-campus. Some of these are listed below.

Library: The College has a spacious library with 10,000 titles and more than 98,000 Volumes of books consisting Indian and International editions on various topics accompanied by important Journals, Magazines and News Papers. A well equipped Digital Library with over 9100 plus video lessons from NPTEL data sharing available in the college. The library has membership with the British library, Delnet, IEEE, ASME, ASCE and J-GATE.
Hostels: SMEC Hyderabad Hostels accommodate 400 boys and girls, respectively. The allotment is done on a first come, first serve basis.

Medical Room: The medical room at SMEC Hyderabad is well-equipped and has ambulance services as well.
Sports Facilities: The college houses various sports facilities like a 400M Running Tracks, courts and grounds for sports like Volleyball, Basketball and Cricket, and Indoor Games like Chess and Carrom.

Academic Facilities: The college has an auditorium and seminar hall for group activities.
Canteen: The college is a large spacious area with a variety of refreshments and meals available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus. The college canteen provides delicious and hygienic food at very affordable prices. South Indian, north Indian, Chinese food both vegetarian and non vegetarian are available.
Transportation: The maintenance of the bus facility is monitored regularly by an exclusively established Transport Department in the college. Ques. What is an honest review of SMEC Hyderabad?

Ans. According to students and alumni, this is one of the best colleges to study in. The principal of the college is very dedicated towards students. The placement rate is around 90%. Every year the college is improving. If you see its history since 2013, you can see its improvement in every aspect.

Ques. As per students, how is life at SMEC Hyderabad?

Ans. As per student reviews, SMEC Hyderabad are required to have attendance above 75% and the staff ensures that only those who pay bribes can get through this threshold. The student was fined INR 10,000 because they failed in an internal exam. Note, that this is cash payment without receipt. Every year, students are required to pay INR 12,500 in cash to buy books which they claim is optional but if you don't buy the books from them, you can't attend labs. As a result, you fail. They have fake internships where students are asked to pay money to be part of the internship. This amount is not high but it is INR 1.5-2K per student in cash. Students need to pay INR 15,000 fees for Campus Recruitment Training. This is a below-average programme where people who couldn't get placed will teach you how to get placed. If you choose not to pay, you can't sit in placements. The staff keeps harassing students who have paid INR 10 Lakh fees for 4 years, half of which is through under the table.

Good ambience with cool atmosphere also good faculty

Till now there are good placements in my college according to google I saw that 20lpa is the highest placement in my college and also there are many companies are hiring employees from my college in recent times

Internship opportunities provided by the college

Many software companies were coming to giving the internships in my college by taking money from the students which is about 1500 and they will provide us a certificate with a company stamp conducted by the college

Students view on campus life

At present the college is good for me according to atmosphere and the ambience in the blocks of the college also they will conduct many events and they encourage students to participate in social activities like street cause

Affordability of course

The overal college education is good with the college fee but they will charge extra amount for books which are unessasary for the students and also they will increase the bus fee yearly and they will make hike on jntu fee also on books fee

Students view on course curriculum

Course is quite good according to me they will providing a good subjects which are related to the course and they will provide lab subjects in each semister and they make us to practice in labs for both coding and hardware

Hostel accommodation in the campus

Hostel fee is about 100000 but the food is not worth for the cost as per my friends told to me who are staying in the hostel also they won't allow students to out without parents permission view a phone call

Students view on faculties

They faculty is very talented coming to the exams they will conduct 2 mid exams for 40 marks each and they will took average of those two and add them to the semister exam at the end for 60 marks and they give us projects also assaingmets

Admission

Along with this I applied for 5 colleges but I got allotment in this college because of reservation process but comparing with those other colleges this is the 3rd place in my list so it is good for me . admission process in this college is very simple and easy they will provide everything in a easy process

Night Life

Clean and calm atmosphere around my college there is a small town 2km far from my college and infront of my college there is nothing to make distrubense and also a good colony is present beside the college

My life in college.

Likes

The computer labs and library is good. The faculty are friendly and good.
Some technical faculty are good and remaining are ok. They follow the government holidays properly.

Dislikes

Some blocks of the college is bad. It doesn't have proper bio metric facilities.
The rules are very strict and non friendly. And there a fine for late , they take the id card and collect 50rs from each.

A step to mould our life

Likes

Especially the physical department I liked the most which is for sports and games and also inclusion of indoor gym.
The library which is very quite peaceful and also the palce which provides us knowledge.

Dislikes

The boys to girls ratio is 2:1 as it was very horrible.
The students of the college should be punctual otherwise they have to face severe actions.
The college was very strict as the group of girls and boys cannot be met inside the campus.

Admission:

I got 40000 rank in TSEAMCET and my first preference is CBIT but to get seat in that college is quite difficult as that is one of the most top college.So then I applied for this college as this is also a top college but i got the admission through sports qouta actually the required rank to get admission in this college is 20000 for this branch(ECE). The admission process for this college is we have to write TSEAMCET then we have to chose the college through counselling.
