As per student reviews, SMEC Hyderabad are required to have attendance above 75% and the staff ensures that only those who pay bribes can get through this threshold. The student was fined INR 10,000 because they failed in an internal exam. Note, that this is cash payment without receipt. Every year, students are required to pay INR 12,500 in cash to buy books which they claim is optional but if you don't buy the books from them, you can't attend labs. As a result, you fail. They have fake internships where students are asked to pay money to be part of the internship. This amount is not high but it is INR 1.5-2K per student in cash. Students need to pay INR 15,000 fees for Campus Recruitment Training. This is a below-average programme where people who couldn't get placed will teach you how to get placed. If you choose not to pay, you can't sit in placements. The staff keeps harassing students who have paid INR 10 Lakh fees for 4 years, half of which is through under the table.

A step to mould our life

Placement Experience:

From 6th semseter onwards the campus placements will start as all the students are eligible for the palcements according to the company requirements. The companies visited to our college are Virtusa,Cognizant,saventis,Linux,Wipro,Infosys etc.. The highest package is 20lakhs in wipro and the average package is 4.5lakh in Accenture. Mostly 85% students are getting placements on campus.

There is 100% chance of placements from past three (3) years in my college ( st Martin's engineering college) this is because my college trains each and every student my taking crt classes regularly and the teaching of the crt classes are also excellent

From 4th yr 1 sem students are eligible for campus placements. Many MNC companies visited our college like cognizant, Accenture, virsusa etc, the highest package in our college is 52 lpa and average is 6lpa, around 200 are placed

In 4th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are oyo,vipro,infosyes and many more they say that 40% students get placement. My plans after getting the degree is to start a business on my own

My experience of college life

Almost 80% of the students in the college is getting placed. Internships will be given since the second semester itself. The highest package till now is 60 lakhs per annum. The placement drives starts right after the 7 th semester ends.after completing my degree I will try to get out with a decent package and works for an year and then will start to pursue my MS degree in some other country.
