Likes

Placement are very good amongst the best in india
Research facility are also good, labs are well maintained
Campus is very neat and clean and secure for girls

Hostel are not that well maintained here specially for girls

I also selected for VIT and SRM university but those are private colleges and this collage have reputation and also less fees so i joined nit warangal. You need to qualify gate exam for mtech admission. After qualify gate you can direct join other wise they conduct viva and exam for those who not qualified under self sponsored category.

Coursework, that covers many subjects like Algorithms and OS
Affordable fee structures compared to other colleges
Few subjects also have labs for practical implementations.

Dislikes

A mess which is far away from hostel is allocated.
Transportation can be improved by adding more vehicles.

I applied to many other colleges like IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur and NIT Calicut. I could not clear the exam of the IIT Hyderabad. I got offer from IIT Jodhpur, but I did not choose it becuase of its fee strcuture and distance from my home town. I chose NIT Warangal over other colleges, is because of the placement statistics. For getting admission through Self -sponsored category, we have to apply in the college portal. Then they will be releasing the shortlisted list for the exam. The exam syllabus is same as the GATE syllabus. Then those who cleared the exam will be called for the interviews. The cutoffs are not fixed, they might change based on the applications they get in that year.

The placement is very good in compare to other NITs in India.
Faculties are very supportive in nature.
The campus is lush green in monsoon and winter.

Dislikes

The mess food is worst . This is the worst part of the college.
The hostel is a bit old so it need renovation.
Sports facilities are not so good. We have only one ground for both cricket and football.

Electronics and Electrical value your ability to remember random figures rather than polishing your technical knowledge.
The syllabus and question paper for both these courses is below par at NIT Warangal. The syllabus for them is outdated.
Placements are high at NITW, but software profiles are mostly offered.
Most students start coding from their pre-final year because of low placement chances in the core companies of other disciplines.
The college infrastructure and hostel facilities may disappoint you.

Government colleges other than IIT D, B, and K are lagging behind in reality.

They have subpar infrastructure and their administration is old and rigid. They offer no extra support and opportunities to their students. All of this combined with the rigorous academic schedule causes plenty of frustration.

Firstly, it is close to impossible to get a seat in CSE during the primary counseling of CCMT.

No, Candidates seeking admission to the M.Tech program at NIT Warangal are required to have a bachelor's degree such as B.E. or B.Tech in the relevant discipline. Candidates must have secured at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA in their graduation. Candidates are selected based on the rank secured by them in the GATE Exam.
