Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% marks and also Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh

Fees structure:-
The tuition fee is Rs.62,500/- per semester.
Other fees: Rs. 41,000/- (Excluding convocation fee of Rs. 2500/-)
Fee remission is applicable as per Government of India norms.
At the UG level, the institute offers a B.Tech. under the following specializations-

NIT Warangal B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
- NIT offers B.Tech in various specializations. The minimum educational to apply is 75% marks in 10+2 or top 20 percentile in the 10+2 by the respective board.
- Physics and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.
NIT Warangal B.Tech. Selection Criteria
Admissions will be based on JEE Main conducted by CBSE. Students who qualify for the entrance exam will have to appear for the centralized counseling by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
- Relaxation of 10% will be given for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
- Class 12th marks will not be added for calculation of rank and merit.
- Admissions will also be offered for Foreign National/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Residential Indians (NRIs) under the Direct Admissions of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development. Such candidates must have a valid Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score.

Tuition fee is absolutely reasonable compared to other institutions because your 4 years of education costs around 5 lacs only. You will be getting scholarships like NSA. There was hike in our hostel fees recently so considering that fees are higher here.

- Campus is so wide,you can roam all across the campus and still can't explore total.Area of nit Warangal is 240 acres.
- There is No ragging which is normally present in many BTech colleges.
Dislikes
- There are some strict rules which are of no use,but still they kept them.
- Canteen is not having any proper place to sit.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Total fee structure for students will be in affordable range compared to many other BTech colleges.The tution fee for the semester is 62500 rs. If the income is less than 1 lakh you need not pay the fee and if parents income is less than 2 lakh, student need to pay half it the tution fee. If the student belongs to SC or ST, student need not to pay any tution fee. The institution will take care of the tution fee. Apart from tution fee, if student can't afford the fee, student can apply for the scholarships which will be given based on the merit rank and the financial status of the student. The student with low income and high merit rank can easily get the scholarships like NSP. Students can apply for internships which can offer experience and provide money at the se time.Nsp will provide money for the student laptop and give money about 1 lakh in first year and 50000 from next year.

- Mess is very bad and the food will not be good
- Washrooms will not clean every day and not hygiene

Here is a fee remission based on income of family. If the total income of the family is above 5 lakhs the student has to pay total fee i.e., 62500 per semister. If the total income of family is below 5 lakhs and above 1 lakh the student has to pay 20 percent of total fee.If the total income of family is below 1 lakh then the student no need to pay the fee

The tution fee is around 62000 per semister without hostel fee. Hostel fee is another 11000-17000 depending on the semister. Tution fee remained same for our batch . As for scholarships reservation benifits applies as well as some merit benifits and central scholarships are applied . No campus employment for undergraduate students

For general student the course fee for semister is 62.5k and the hostel fee is 24 k .it varies with the cast.im an sc category student I don't need to pay 62.5k per sem I have free education but I must pay the hstl fee

- The Main thing is Attendance Criteria, Which was 80 percent.

Basically the Fee For a General Category Student is 62,500 as Of Now. For a Sc/St/EWS Category Students The Fee Was 11,000. We Can Get NSP Scholarship which is What I Am Sure Many Of Us Able to Get It. Campus Employement was the Very Good Thing Here, You Get Employed At A. Very Good At A Good Package and Also Internship Oppurtunities.Make Sure U Maintain a Good CGPA for These Benifits. Thank You

Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition is at a decently affordable price compared to other private institutions. There are several provisions for people who are not as privileged as others, such as fee concessions and education loans etc. to name a few. A yearly tution fee costs us about 125000, which is a decently affordable price in my opinion.

- The fests and the college ambience, the film club screenings

- The college doesn't have a proper maintenance of the ground
- There is a new rule of college criteria for cultural organisers
Fees and Financial Aid:
The college has increments in fees for every 3 or 4 years approximately, the current fee is 1.25 lakhs and the total cost of my education would be 6 - 7laks and mess subscription that's separate and that's 115 per day, the food is not so good at the campus, there are many scholarships, central, state, tata, etc.

- Its very hard to sustain with the mess food

I think nit warangal fees dont alter much with time , and the hosted fees are also cheap compared to other nits . total cost would around 10Lakhs INR including tuition fees and hosted fees. one from each branch gonna get scholarship Im not completely aware of that. around 90 percent of eligible candidates gets campus placements here.

What is it like to be in ECE branch at NIT Warangal/ Surathkal/Calicut? How is the campus life and placements (companies visiting, kind of jobs, average packages)?
I have a friend who studies in the ECE branch at NIT Warangal. I will break down his overall experience into simpler aspects
Academics: The curriculum and academic life at NIT Warangal for ECE students is a bit more challenging than others. Some semesters have too many courses and it’s difficult to get free time. The grades are given a lot of importance and students face tough competition. Also, the faculty is not very approachable.
- Campus life: The campus life of students of all branches is similar. Equal opportunities and facilities are offered and students experience a productive ambiance where they can work on their passions.
- Hostels : The hostel facilities are top-notch and both old and new hostels are available. Students get a home-like feel in these cozy buildings and make friends for life.
- Mess food: Mess food is better than food served in intermediate hostels. However, students can opt for eating out if the food in the mess is unsatisfactory. The eateries outside serve decent food at low prices.
- Sports : The sports culture here is not very prominent and you won’t be forced to be involved in any such activities.
- Extracurricular : A number of clubs promote extracurriculars with ECEA being the most active association.
- Peer group: Your batchmates will be the most hardworking and smartest people in the institute so peer group quality should be the last thing to worry about.
