Course Curriculum Overview

The course I have chosen is mechanical engineering. I am already interested in this course but in nitw, some hectic schedule getting trouble for me. But the courses are good for thermal and design, manufacturing but some old courses are also given. They should not be important in nowadays I think.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee-aproxx(600000) For gen-you have to pay all the fee, there is no scholarship is provided for the general category If you are in general(ews), you have to pay 1/3rd of your tution fee For St, SC, and OBC-NSP scholarship is provided.

Campus Life

My experience is almost good, some academic pressure had but i can be managed I am in a ATV bike design and manufacturing team And for hustle i join dramatic club. Two fest they organize in 1 year 1-techfest which is probably on dec 2-springspree (cultural fest) on April Library facilities are good there many books which you can gain knowledge from there Sports facilities are also good 1 main stadium you can play football , cricket and athletics Two lawn Tennis court, 3 badminton court, 2 kabbadi , 2 basketball court, table tennis and gym also are there

Admission

You have to give jee main exam for nitw and you have must to score 98 percentile for better branch Admission process is held by jossa and csab after you getting any seat in nitw college then you have to submit your document in nitw physically You can find the application in jossa website. There is some reservation benefit as category and home state quota

Faculty

There are some very good professors,. Almost all professors have good qualifications from top IIT, NIT, and some good and famous foreign countries. But some professor doesn't have teaching skill or communication skills.

Coming to the placements our college will be in the first place . Because we will get over 20- 30 for internships and 200-400 for full time companies . So I would give it a 5 star rating for that. The highest pack is 55 lakh and the avg is 8 lakh . I want to get places in a good tech company. From 3 rd semester students can be available to sit in the placements

My Review My Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is good and mostly useful. The main reason I chose this course is because the subjects were interesting to me. We have two mid-term 30 Marks Each exam and one final exam 60 Marks in every semester. There are internal assignments and lab exams also. The exams are not very hard, but you need to study regularly. Most students pass if they prepare properly.
