Candidates must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% marks and also Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh

For Other Than Telangana – 57 ( 0 for Female Supernumerary)
Fees structure:-
The tuition fee is Rs.62,500/- per semester.
Other fees: Rs. 41,000/- (Excluding convocation fee of Rs. 2500/-)
Fee remission is applicable as per Government of India norms.
At the UG level, the institute offers a B.Tech. under the following specializations-

NIT Warangal B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria
- NIT offers B.Tech in various specializations. The minimum educational to apply is 75% marks in 10+2 or top 20 percentile in the 10+2 by the respective board.
- Physics and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.
NIT Warangal B.Tech. Selection Criteria
Admissions will be based on JEE Main conducted by CBSE. Students who qualify for the entrance exam will have to appear for the centralized counseling by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
- Relaxation of 10% will be given for SC/ST candidates in the qualifying examination.
- Class 12th marks will not be added for calculation of rank and merit.
- Admissions will also be offered for Foreign National/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Residential Indians (NRIs) under the Direct Admissions of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development. Such candidates must have a valid Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) score.

- The greenery in campus ,and there were many spots to sit
- Supportive nature and no ragging culture in college

- Girls and boys ratio is too low.some branches like civil and mechanical it's too poor

Fees and Financial Aid:
Academic Yearly fees if you have no fee waiver of low family income and sc/st fee waiver is approx 1lakh 36 thousand ...and also 1 year hostel and mess charge is 54000..first time you have to pay 15000 caution money as well in hostel which will be refunded... And there are two basis of fee waiver one is based on family income if your family income is less than 1 lakh per year you don't have to pay any tution fee which is 1 lakh 25 thousand per year ..and if income is less than 5 lakh per annum than you have to 1/4 of tution fee only ... Also there is caste based fee waiver according to which sc/st students dont need to pay any tution fee....but hostel and mess fee is same for all people

- I liked the infrastructure and the discipline maintained here
- I liked how they respond fast to problems like electricity or water
Dislikes
- I disliked the food here. I was not that good considering the fee they take.
- They also gave rooms to 2 people where only one accommodation is possible.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fee is around 62k per semester, caution money is of 15k, admission fee will be taken in josaa, there is also a few called other fee which includes fee like lab, electricity etc. For SC/ST Students there is no need to pay tution fee. For below 5 lakh income people of General Category students also there is no need to pay tution fee

- We have central library, digital library where different kind of books are available to read and learn to explore through internet
- We will be having cultural programs,fests,occasional programs on different occasions such as independence day,Ganesh chaturthi,etc..
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure per semester for government employees children is 62500Rs per semester and 166000Rs per year and for non government employees children there will be scholarship provided and for children whose family income is below 8lpa they will be provided money reimbursement and there will be provided merit scholarship also based on cgpa.

- We have central library and digital library by which we could read different books and learn to explore through internet.
- We have several clubs and cultural programs and fests during occasions to have fun, enjoy and relaxation from our busy schedule.

The fee structure per semester for govt employees children is 62500Rs and per year is166000 and for parents whose annual income is less than 8lpa will be provided money reimbursement and different kind of scholarships will be provided to students such as merit scholarship and some are for exclusively non government employees children .

- The best thing about the college is the exposure to the newcomers it provides whether it is in field of social interaction or industrial.
- The professors are highly skilled and easy to reach.
Dislikes
- The non-flexibility and difficulty in non-adaptability of the curriculum.
- Lack of basic sports facilities and hygiene is also a problem.

The tution fee is same as per other NITs but the annual increment in hostel fee is random while the betterment in facilities is not visible. The scholarship provided is very less and solely depends upon your CGPA. The complete course fee for 4 years can be estimated as 10 Lakhs (General).

- I liked the Alumni Network of NITW Warangal & their brand name than other NIT college or some IIT Colleges
- I liked their peer group of NIT Warangal. Like i always I feel I'm in better group than anyone.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike is Mess food which worse than ever.even giving so many complaints they don't improve
- The other thing I don't like is to me having less taste of North Indian food.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tution fee is good. Rate of hikes is fairly low compared to other colleges Total complete cost of education is 500,000 it includes all the other services. And hostel fee is 28000 Yeaaa there are scholarship are available for Merit & deserving students. Like student who can't afford the fees they are providing the scholarship. Like student irrespective of the category & merit they are provided the resumption of tution fee. Campus placement is available in college.

- Library is the best place of our institution
- Infrastructure of our college is great and our college is so green and clean.
Dislikes
- Mess food which is not good and we have to walk out of our institution to get another food because most of our stalls was remo6
- Hostel are too congested and really need to change our bathrooms

Our course fee is 62500 per sem. But it is not for everyone it is for category of general and obc with income above 5lpa. Mine was below one lakh Category so I don't have any course fee. If it above 1 and below 5 it is 22500 per sem. SC and ST students don't have tution fee. If we study well we get scholarship from government (merit scholarship) of course I didn't get any scholarship. If u do phd here u would get around 40k stipend and 12k for mtech

- The cg eligibility criteria implemented by the new director for participating in the clubs and events.
- The mess food is not nice and they didn't maintain the hyegiene

The scholar's is available for students whose family income is less than 1lakh. .For those with 1-5 lakh annual income , the fee is 20k per semester.And for income above 5 lakh , the fee is 60k. The college also provides scholarship for SC/ST students and also merit based scholarship for OC and OBC students .

- Attendance and 80 is mandatory and donot like it
- Ppt and bikes and cars are not allowed here
