- SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] is inviting applications for B.Tech Admissions 2024 via SRMJEEE 2025. SRMJEEE 2025 will be conducted in three phases. The last date to apply for SMRJEEE Phase 1 is April 16, 2025 and the exam is scheduled from April 22, 2024 to April 27, 2024. Interested candidates can visit the official website to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality and Age: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG).
Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who have not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under International student category only.
Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.
Qualifying Examination:
Applicant should have passed in Higher secondary examination (10, +2 pattern) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with a minimum of 60% aggregate ( 3 subjects) in Physics (mandatory) , Mathematics (mandatory) and at least one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics / Botany and (or) Zoology as major subjects in regular subjects in regular stream from any board within India , CBSE , ISCE , Matriculation , IB or NIOS

Applicable to All Campuses:
First Year One-time non-refundable and non-transferable Registration fee of Rs.10,000/- for programs with an annual fees of Rs.1,00,000/- and above and Rs.5,000/- for programs with an annual fees less than Rs.1,00,000/-
Examination Fee per Semesterwill be additional based on the number of subjects registered for examination.

- I really liked the infrastructure and the facilities. We had several labs with good instruments. Including 2 Cessna and 1 helicopter.
- The faculties were really good, always ready to help and even stay in touch after passing out. They reach out to students for reasearch projects and even help them gain scholarship for matsers
Dislikes
- Few faculties do discriminate for not being from Tamil Nadu, but it's manageable
- Obviously the food is not that great, specially for people coming from north
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee per year was 3,75,000, this includes tuition fee only. There is scholarship available for students having CGPA above 9.5. Buying books was not compulsory. Before every sem exam there was exam fee that had to be paid which was around 3000. Students having defence background had to pay a very minimal amount for the tuition fee. The hostel fee was different and very high according. I never stayed in hostel.
Likes
- Big campus - the campus is huge and a lot of space to move around
- Buildings - many buildings for studying and an on campus hospital which is essential
Dislikes
- money is not put to use in betterment of facilities
- Harsh schedule and not all departments are treated the same
Fees and Financial Aid:
Full fee structure for a year is a total of 375000 and now I'm in 3rd year the price for new admissions has increased, that isn't the case for my batch, i don't have any scholarship, and all my batchmates follow the same fee structure as we don't have different domains in our degree, to my knowledge my course doesn't have any SC/ST either
Likes
- The infrastructure of the college is amazing.
- The vibe of the college during events is something to look forward to.
Dislikes
- The teachers there were not very attentive sometimes.
- To get a work done in college, you need to roam around to different departments and then the work is done.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Scholarships are not easily available in SRMIST. The complete cost of the course is a lot but worth it because of the reputed name of the university and placement opportunities. Placements are available to all students and many companies come for campus recruitment.

- Teachers are well knowledged and supporting, you can ask them doubts any time
- Campus is very huge and clean, you dont need to go out for anything, everything is available in college campus.
Dislikes
- There is racism for non tamil people locally, people ignore non tamil speakers
- There is decrimination for girls and boys hostel, girls hostel has way more facilities than boys hostel

This college is little expensive, talking about my cource I.e aerospace engineering, fees is 375000 per year and in first year we have to pay 10000 extra. So my complete cost of education will be 15,10,000 rs for four year. Tere are scholarships for people in sports and according to rank in SRMjeee exam. There is no campus employment for students

- I like the labs present in college, it has all basic requirements.
- The campus life is also good, there are not much restrictions in college.

- I dont like the mess food as it repeats every week.

For us, the Fee is not hiked from starting to now. You can get a scholarship if you become first in class. I don't see students doing jobs in college as many of the students are rich kids. You can get scholarships based on locality also and sports also.
Course Curriculum Overview:
A bit hectic but still manageable, faculties could be better though.course was very interesting they should have added more practical knowledge, the course did get hectic at times with way too many exams.

The SRM entrance examination is the best way to get a world class education at almost no cost. The meritorious students get awesome scholarships if the have that zeal within them. The college is very supportive in such fields.

Scholarships our available on the basis of your performance in enterance exam. Also your percentage in your 12th board exams. Also their are certain scholarships for particular group of students. Also on the basis of your performance in University exam you can avail scholarships.

There is various scholarship provided by SRMIST for there students. Like academic-based and state topper National level cultural event participants and foreign students.Loan facility is also there SRM request banks to provide the loan to students.
