Likes

Clubs are the main attraction of Srm, you have around 40 clubs in Srm
It is an Antiragging Campus, so no ragging for students
Java canteen, it is the food court we have that have literally everything you need.

Dislikes

The food delivery is not allowed inside the College
Inside the hostels, the girls have to get in before 6 and guys have to get jn before 9
Then it is okay.. Till now but research further if you are looking for admissions

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of Aerospace Engineering is actually pretty fine in 1st year but if you have weakness for maths, but you think you will work hard then it is good and we have CTs along semesters and they are pretty good

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are good to hear from seniors, there were lot of packagea for different courses, i dont exactly know about Aerospace Engineering but the overall internship is good and valuable.

Placement Experience

I dont know personally about the Placements but i have heard from the faculties and seniors that SRM have a fine Placements for different courses but they didnt gave in the details about Aerospace Engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently studying in Aerospace Engineering, I am a First year student. The course charge around 4,00,000 per year, SRM is one of the best college you can get for Aerospace.And The scholarship varies at how you apply at the College

Campus Life

The campus is a fabulous itself, food courts, nice people and amazing clubs, have a huge library, and if i start about the club involvement then it is huge... Like there are around 40 clubs in SRM.it is good in overall.

Hostel Facilities

I stay at College Hostel, the fees structure goes from 1.18-2.45, the accommodation varies to how you choose your hostel, it have attached and non attached bathrooms and Ac and non Ac, then if you are choosing hostels then also ask about the elevator service, vending machine, terrace availability and everything.

Hostel Fee: INR 118000 per year

Admission

I chose this college because, SRM has one the best Aerospace Engineering course in India and it have interesting subjects as for in 1st sem, the core subjects start from 3 semester, 2nd year so if you want you can.

Faculty

The Faculties are Okay, there are lot of cool faculties in Aerospace let alone.. So you guys will be fine. Some have short temper like if you are late for class by 20-30 minutes, you attendance for the entire 4 classes are gone..

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
