Srm university is one of the best leading university in India. It helps the students to build their career. This university has many research facilities and well equipped labs and the teachers are also highly educated and student friendly. Before taking admission into this university one should complete the registration process by filling the registration form that starts from December then in month of april-may then releases the admit card of the entrance exam they will be conducting and then in the monthof may end ir June first week the entrance exam will be held

The goal of biotechnology is to produce drugs by using living organisms such as bacterial cells, yeast, mammalian cells, etc. that are placed in culture to produce substances with pharmacological activity, such as monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of tumors. Faculties of my department are well educated and have very high practical knowledge and are student friendly. Most faculty members are associate professors. For BTech they conduct three cycle tests and model exams for practical and theory before the university exams and for Mtech two cts are conducted Ct1 consists of unit 1-2 and CT-2 for unit 3,4,5 and model practicals before the university exams

For BTech, 7 th semester students are eligible for camous placement. Tcs, cognizant, wipro, and many it and electronics companies have visited and almost half of the students who give placement interviews are recruited in their respective fields.

Life in campus is very enjoyable. The one who are good in extra curricular activities can take part in events. Through out the year, the university conducts many small fest but the main fests are Aarush and Milan, where students can show their talents. Many sports activities are also conducted each year.

Labs are well equipped and provides basic new technologies not only in biotechnology but in other departments also. Wifi is provided 24 hours, library consists of thousands of books and every department students can borrow a book for 20 days minimum

Infrastructure of the hostel is very good. Basically there are 6 girls hostels one is fully air conditioned and one have both ac and non ac room while others have only non ac rooms moreover there are two sharing, three and four sharing rooms eith attached bathrooms and balconies. Meal is provided everytime starting from breakfast to dinner including evening snacks and one can get both north Indian and south indian food everytimes twice in a month chicken biryani is served for nonveg students and for vegetarians also options are available. To get hostel booking, the administration provides a full detail of the list of available hostel for both boys and girls and link will be sent to the students who takes admission in a particular course so that they can book their rooms accordingly.
