I love my college campus its so green and there are many different flowers i like to take photos of it .
I love my faculty,they are so friendly and support me to learn snd Helps me with my projects and guide me in a good way
My college conducts many club events and culturals that mskes learning here more interesting and exciting

Dislikes

I don't like my college dress code like they font allow leggings for female and jeans for male students
Some teachers wont allow students to rome around the college campus even after their classes got over for morning dhift students
Even 5 mins late will be marked as absent for that hour.

Student view on course curriculum

Every semester teachers and students hace a meeting regarding the syllabus and will be taken by the faculty according to the current trends and technology. The quality of the education and couse syllabus is at top and best. we had a final year project based on the real life system and experienced the it project for 4 months along with it we have done many minor projects to support and can be added to your resumes. They provide additional coursess along with your degree. Last time i had a software testing course and before that they gave me a coursera id in which i can complete any no.of courses i need ,but it is not free and it will be added to the semester fees. The exams question will be taken by our college and it will be moderate . There will ve choices for each question.

Internship opportunity provided by the college and stipend

My college provide internship opportunities for students studying 2nd and 3rd year with small aswell as large companies. With an average of stipend rs 10,000 per month. In my class 4 students are attending internship as software developer in tring apps and will come to college only for writing their exams .zoho offers 20,000 as stipend for internship in software developer and also tech support engineer etc.

Placement provided by the college , average and highest package

From 5th semester students will be eligible for placements . Before that all the placement training will be given to the students to help them prepare for interviews with top mncs. The average package will be 3.4 LPA which os little equivalent to engineering package. Highest package ladt yaer was 12LPA i think so. I got 2 offers in mncs lti mindtree and Accenture that made me feel proud and happy. after my degree i would like to work in sny one of these companies and resch to a top in my career growth. My college helped me a lot with my studies and placements thankyou so much for this. I also attended zoho incubation training for software developer which is a best role for arts fresher equivalent to an engineer and can get more salary. Out of 10 placement registered students 9 will be placed for sure. 90% placement opportunities for students.they conducted so many tests regularly that helped me a lot .

Yearly fees structure and scholarship

We have to pay fees each semester which will be 25000 rs.approx for Bsc.IT course since it is self financed. my friend studying BA english aided,her fees is 4000rs. only which is too low in madurai. Now i will explain the fees structure of my final semester. Tution fee will be same for every semester and it is rs.19,875 , alumini fees 500 . We have to pay the fees before the last date or else we need to pay a fine of rs.50 or rs.100 . Last semester we paid additional fees for certificate courses 1000rs . Placement training fees will also be added with your semester fees . There ate many scholarship schemes offered by my college,in my class 2 students got scholarship for single parent child and there are also merit scholarships programs that helps students a lot who cannot afford money to pay fees. In my class other than scholarship students all will be paying same fees and no cast reservation for fees payment. All the scholarship slong eith their benefits are given in my college website as well as hand book yo help students.

Various clubs and many other facilities in the campus

Our college has msny clubs like reades club, social media club and they conduct so many club events that allows students to participate win certificate and exciting prizes . These events make students come to college regularly and reduce their stress levels in studying. For 1at and 2nd yr students they can participate in part 5 like nss, ncc, navy, yrc, rotract, nature club etc..they take us on tripd and industrial visits once in your 3yrs which is a unforgettable memories for all. Other than this every department has their own club and they conduct events within their students between juniors and seniors. This creates a food bond between students and q xhance to interact with seniors so they can know more things abot job, life, current trends etc. and they assign leaders for the club from the final year students

Student views on the faculty and exams

There are different staffs for each subjects in a semester. They guide us to do many real life projects that helps us to get a job so quickly and easily. my favourite faculty is Gayathri mam of CA and IT department, she always smiles on me and motivate me to be confident. she was so happy that i got 2 offers in top mnc's. She used to give notes that would so much during examination. She is the best of all other staffs snd always tells us about the current trends in the world. For a semester we have to write 2 internal examination and one external examination. Internal will be for 2hrs of 30 marks both the internal marks will be added together for 25 marks . The external examination will be for 75 marks 3hrs then both theses external and internal marks eill be added and we get the final result for total 100 marks . Along with internals we will have our assignment marks added together. The syllabus of the course will be changed every semester according to the current trends and technology that helps students so much along with the basics and theories required to that course. We have 3 practical papers and 3 core papers and changes in every semester.

Admission process of the college

This college was top in madurai with nirf ranking 15 . First i thought of learning engineering but the fees was too high that I can't afford,so i choose this college which provides same placement opportunities as engineering college with top mncs abd provides many internship opportunities from your 2ndyr . You can apply for the college and courses directly on the college website after completing 12th and when the results are out . Students are selected based on their cuttoff amd according to cast reservation. Once you are selected you will asked to come for document verification and finally you can get into tca. I experienced so much good thing in my college. They conducted skill training program that helped me a lot abd i was able to communicate more with my classmates and boosted up my confidence.

Night Life

There us a canteen and can get different food items from there . Nin veg is not alloweded inside my college because the founder follows vegetarian way of living. Hostel students can leave out during day should return back before 7o clock in the evening. There are many hidden spots and places to hide and relax inside the college. During night it gives the best place and moments. I once stayed there till 11.pm when we were going on a trip. My college is located in madurai famous tourist place theppakulam surrounded by 3 auspicious temples and bank of the vaigai river. During nifht theppakulam will be shinning bright with night lights and filled with many people cames there to wlak , eat ,relax. There are many best street foods and trending food shops only during night tome.

I had applied to many colleges such as Madura college, American college, Meenakshi college, Lady Doak college and Gandhigram University College and i got selected in all the colleges but the reason behind why i chose Thiagarajar is because of the distance. It's so near to my house and the collge set some high standards. The admission of Thiagarajar college is based on Online applications and cutoffs. We have to score high on the subject which we're going to select as our course.

Admission:

I chose this college because of its higher ranking and located in somewhat central area so transportation will be available frequently. The asthetic view of theppakulam from college made me to pick thiagarajar college and it's surrounded with temples from both sides. Admission process is simple and neat

I like the college ambience it's very greenery and fantastic atmosphere

Lab facilities all are little bad so I say lab facilites
I really disliked is play ground it is very small and they are don't allowed to play .

Best for girl students studying and their safety

Dislikes

The parking facility is very bad doesn't have enough space to park the vehicle freely and is not even a evenly concerted place just a sandy place with trees and rocks and for that we need to pay 4 rupees daily which is not worthy at all.
The campus isn't that good evening though the college has many space and the only thing they focus on is study.

Admission:

I was planning to apply for engineering since I had good marks so I just chose this college for short time but due to personal issues I had to stay and complete this course.i had applied for American college but many said this college is good which is a lie this college has better placement compared to others that's it no celebration like others

Admission:

My admission process was very good and neat. I had only 1 round of interview. I did not have any entrance exam to get the admission. I only applied through form filling. Eligibility for the course was 65% .

The application process for all the courses is conducted in offline mode. For UG courses, candidates must have passed HSC from a recognized institute with the concerned subject. For all the PG courses, they must have a graduation degree in a three year course. For M.Phil course, applicants must have done Postgraduation in the concerned discipline. The selection to all the courses is done on the marks scored in qualifying examination.
