Should I get a Bachelor's of Technology in computer science from MSIT GGSIPU or SRM Chennai? Why?

Choose MSIT if you want to prioritize degree value over cost. Otherwise, go with SRM. MSIT CSE placements are excellent, but if you live in a politically neutral environment with large campuses, consider SRM, Chennai. Technical societies, such as IEEE, are very active, and if you are fortunate enough to be a part of them, it is better for you in terms of placement and 'knowledge building. If you are serious about expanding your knowledge, there are a few amazing teachers as well as seniors who can assist and guide you. It is entirely up to you to make the most of the available opportunities.

Which college should I go SRM or NMIMS for CSE?

For CSE, SRM is the better option. The academics, campus life, and facilities offered are good. Major recruiting companies such as Amazon, Honda, Cognizant, etc. recruit through the campus drive. B.Tech in CSE: Should I choose Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT, Pune), or SRM (Main Campus)?

Let’s start with the most important thing, the rankings of both the universities. According to NIRF rankings, MIT was ranked #138th for B.Tech courses and SRM was ranked #36th for engineering. Approved by AICTE, both the universities provide equally qualified faculty. Admissions MIT World Peace University Pune: The candidate must have gained 50% marks in PCM with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects. Scores of JEE Main 2020/ MHT-CET 2020 score. The university conducts an entrance exam namely PERA CET. The total 1st-year fees is Rs 3.1 Lakhs. SRM: The candidate must have gained 50% marks in PCM or PCB subject in 10+2 examination. Scores of SRMJEE (UG) 2020 (this entrance exam is only available to Indian residents, NRI, holders of PIO or OCI card which is issued by the Indian Government). The total 1st-year fee is 2.6 Lakhs. about my college SRM

i am currently a second-year B.Tech CSE student at SRM Kattankulathur. The yearlly tuition fee for my batch is approximately 4,50,000 under the regular SRNJEEE merit category. In the first year, I paid tuition along with a one time admission and registration fee of around 10,000-15,000 and a refundable caution deposit of about 5,000.

Beyond Books : My complete experience at SRM

I joined B-tech in computer science engineering in management quota and the total feed paid was 3,50,000 per year including hostel fee book fee. I paid admission and registration fee along the tuition charges and refundable caution deposite. sem fees per year was around 2,50,000 book fees is 15,000 cdc is 25,000 after this base fees there might be broke fees for lab arund 150-500, entertainment fees 1500 there might be rank based concession for top students

SRMIST has set the highest standards!

SRMIST is a premiere Engineering college in Chennai and commands a premium fees too. The yearly fees for CSE here is 4.5 lakhs a year. The hostel fees in which I stay is 3 sharing Non/AC and fees for the same is 1.18 lakhs a year.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Dislikes

They change the course curriculum without thinking of most of the students and they wont discuss it.

So the year wise fees is 400000 for 2023 batch in got increase for 2024 batch.So the registration fees is 10000 and 4 lakhs for collage and hostel fees is different .So if any one got rank below 200 in srmjee will get discount upto 100% free fees .They have so much options for scolarships if any one is from army background and got good rank in srmjee.

The tuition fees are quite expensive compared to other private collages and on top of that additional charges like hostel,message and lab fees add up.
While the curriculum is industry -oriented at times it feels too theory heavy or outdated in certain electives.

My experience at SRM IST,Chennai I am enrolled in SRM University and my annual fees is 300000.Considering the infrastructure,faculty ,labs and placement support,SRM has offered God value for what I am paying. The campus is modern,labs and workshop are well-equipped. Professors are approachable and the curriculum is relevant with good tie-ups/industry exposure. Even though the fees are relatively high,I was able to get scholarship(via SRM JEEE /merit) which significantly reduced the financial burder.withiut that it would have been difficult. Other fees(registration, development,lab,etc.) and hostel/message add up. So 300000/year is not the only expanse. The scholarship/waiver you get may require you to maintain a high CGPA in following years. If performance falls,waiver might be reduced or lost. Fee increments are happening; newer batches pay more.So if you join later, expect somewhat higher fees Over Verdict: For what I pay ,SRM IST gives a good academic, faculties and career prospects.the financial, and career prospects. The financial aid I got made a big difference. If you can secure a scholarship and are serious about studies, this college is worth it. And placement is also good here ,evey big MNCs is come here for hiring .

I used to pay 300000 for one year and i am pursuing a B. Tech degree so for four years the total fee cost would be 12L just for the college and if you choose the hostels as well it would cost you roughly around 20L

SRM KTR review

485000 for first year and then 475000 for 3 years. Tuition fees is 475000, registration fees 10000. Merit based scholarship is available. For ranks under 200 100% scholarship. For the scholarship to continue after 1st year minimum cgpa is 9.

The fees is a little on the expensive side.

Yearly fees is 475000 with no additional costs except the hostel fees and the money required for buying lab coats, calculator etc. The entrance test exam registration fees was 1400?. There are people with a 100% scholarship in tuition as well as hostel fees. The college doesn't plan on increasing their fees anytime soon. I belong to the general category
